Earlier this year, I had the pleasure of playing TLOU on Hard for my mother who enjoyed watching me play like a really long movie. When the final scene played, she said it was one of the best vide games she ever had a chance to experience. I think I'll surprise her with this and let her see the improved graphics and framerate.

Reminds me of Uncharted 3.

I was hanging out with my cousin and my aunt and uncle at a beach house. After a day at the beach we played and beat Uncharted 3.

My aunt and uncle were sitting in the same room as us when we were gaming and they were actually very into the game. They thought the story was interesting and the gameplay scenarios really had us on the edge of our seat.

Yep Uncharted and TLOU have been my passions. I've actually had a GAF account for years but mostly lurk.

Haven't made videos in a while since getting into streaming on twitch, but with YouTube adding 60fps support soon I might come back.

I saw TLOU ps4 version being played in a Walmart employee break room. I was going to the bathroom and I looked over to my right and saw it being played on a 42 inch Vizio. It looked a little clean but the framerate looked 30ish. I couldn't stay since i was wasn't allowed back there. Everyone was speaking French for some wired reason.

Preorder listings in different territories sometimes come at widely different dates. In this case, EU users cant preorder digitally yet.

Wolfenstein & Watch Dogs was AUD$60 down from $110 RRP at launch with one place selling them for $40 2 weeks later.

Even Mario Kart 8 was $50 at launch, on the same shelf was Mario Kart Wii which is still $50 since it came out years ago. Nintendo are usually terrible for lowering prices here so hopefully it's a sign of things to come from them.

I don't expect to pay more than $60-70 for a day one PS4 game now. Much better than the first year of the 360/PS3.

Even looking at the PS4, RRP is $550 but one retailer had a bundle with a PS4 and Wolfenstein for AUD$434 a month ago! Much cheaper than $1000 which is what the PS3 launched at here 7 years ago!

Where can you find Wolfenstein for $40?

I am only fussed because I don't really see a reason for it. If it was due to, say, one country then censor for that country, but don't cut everywhere else.

Were you planning on trading it in? If not, just buy it digital on the US PSN store. That's 50 USD, which I assume is quite a bit cheaper than AUD prices.

Nah, I never trade games in, and I'm currently tossing up whether to just get the digital one, or try and grab a retail copy (probably from Gamestop or eBay). Owning an actual copy is a real plus for me, I like collecting games and having a physical copy.

Yeah, Amazon are super weird like that, it can change day to day also, so it doesn't hurt to keep checking back, but at this moment, The Last of Us Remastered isn't available for international shoppers (at least Australia).

Nah it's not heavy censorship at all, compared to some of the stuff we get in Australia, it's just the multiplayer, but I like to have the game as it was intended, if it was any other game I probably wouldn't be that worried, but TLoU has such good MP, I really want the full experience. Also, I have already bought TLoU on PS3 twice (Joel and Ellie special editions) from Australia, and this was before the word came out that there was censorship, so I'd like to avoid it for my triple dip, that's all

Yeah, all PAL copies of the game are censored, reallllly sucks. It's not unusual for one or two countries to get censored copies (Australia is usually one of those), but to outright do it for every country is such an odd choice.

What's crazy for me is that ive played both of those games already, yet the remasters for PS4 are two of my most anticipated games. ND and Rockstar are probably the only devs who could make a game that has that effect on me (Maybe Bungie also).

Yep, me too. I'm more hyped for these than pretty much anything else, two brilliant games that were an incredible achievement on PS3 but were really made for this gen so they can shine, I feel.

It's fine. Each account can only have one 'home' console. But each console can have multiple home accounts.

So my PS4 has my UK, US and JPN accounts all set to 'home', and then I just log in with my UK PSN account and can play all of it.

It's bizarre to me that so many people are asking questions and getting worried about the lack of video for a game that's been out for a year being made by people who have done more than any other developer to earn respect for their graphical chops. What exactly is it that people are worried about?

They're worried they haven't shown the requisite amount of concern for a HD-remake of a year old game set in a corridor with QTEs and why don't Phony make something new for a change - like CoD: Under de Sea.

My Brother In Law was watching me play the game, and was upset when I played through the part of the game.

I knew my way around the hotel because it took me like an hour to find the generator, so I just naturally turned it on and instantly ran to the door and opened it because I spent an hour there, didn't see the Bloater, and didn't know there was supposed to be one.

Lol I remember this all too well, I replayed the hotel section a few days ago on hard mode with listen mode off to relive the E3 demo hype, this is where I stopped. Not going any further than this I told myself lol

In my first playthrough I knew something would happen when I turned that generator on, when the first runners came in, I remember I said I would stand my ground and wait for them to come charging at me, I was stocked up on shotgun shells, shivs and bombs just in case too.

That's when the big fucker came in the room and I just started screaming and ran for it. That gave me a good scare, yeah probably the best one in the game.

All DLC has been released for PS3, the last one being 'Reclaimed Territories' and I'm pretty sure it's included in the PS4 release.

Someone on Reddit suggest that playing the uncensored US version as your EU account may cause it to be censored. Can anyone confirm if this is possible? It would defeat the entire purpose of buying it on the US account for uncensored goodness.

I would go digital, and print-out my own boxart and apply it to a blank PS4 box, if you can buy those on Amazon. That way you get the benefits of digital with the collector's need for having the box nicely presented on your bookcase.
