I'm quite happy that we didn't get Chrom actually. We got two characters, and one of them very unique in execution and aesthetics!

Also, I'm so glad the rayman trophy was immediately derailed by the best thing ever. We've all forgotten about ubi trophies. So happy.

Well the game's 60 days from release in Japan. Sakurai wants the remaining characters to be a surprise so he made this video to directly cast doubt on the gematsu leak. We'll find out how accurate the leak is in 2 months. Personally I still think Shulk and Chorus Kids are in the game. But as we've seen, anything can change.

That's how I took it. Or like "Lucina instead of Chrom?!" It could also be that she's barely stepping into battle, because Falcon was beating her down.

I will say there's a lot more potential mains this time around than in Brawl.

For me, Brawl had: Snake, Pit, and Toon Link for newcomers I was interested in maining.

Smash 4 has got: Palutena, Rosalina, Robin, Little Mac, Greeninja, Villager and Megaman that I'm all interested in learning, which is pretty awesome.

I, for one, I'm really digging this new roster. The only thing that can make it perfect is to add Snake back in and put in Ridley. Which is totally happening, by the way.

All of the 3 leaks have gotten too many things right for it too be fake, I just assume the leaker didn't have complete information.

It's sort of common I guess, like how the leak that mentioned Fairy types for X and Y got it right that it was immune to dragon and weak to steel, but got wrong that it resisted psychic.

The only weird thing about the leak now is that Chrom is not in, which is the first character out of the leak that seems to be wrong (yet has an in-game model). The leaker has gotten lot of stuff right, with the timing of reveals usually being what has been wrong consistently.

I'd be cool with Mona or Syrup. I just want another Wario rep, and Mona, Syrup, 9-Volt, and Jimmy make the most sense to me. If Ashley became playable before either the pirate or pizza girl though, I would be speechless, in the bad way.

He looks funny as shit here by the way for some reason. Also I think Lucina looks better on the 3DS version.

I swear if it turns out that Sakurai was feeding Sal what to leak, or if Sakurai turns out to be Sal himself, this is going to go down in the history books somewhere, presumably one that lists effective viral marketing campaigns.
