It won't be the same. Better shadow quality, 4X texture detail, 1080p resolution, better AA, cutscene quality character models in-game, better lighting. There's no way it will look the same due to those things. It will be sharper and more detailed than the PS3 version.

And it will all run 'SOLIDLY' at 60fps.

Yeah of course, I just meant the title screen because if ND didn't bother with that I would be a bit disappointed.

But it looks like it so :D

Having them alert enimies would have broken the game.

The game has a lot going for it, but my god, the A.I is atrocious. Nobody who isn't completely blind would deny that. I lost count of how many times Ellie would thunder past me like a herd of elephants or go leaping around like a ballerina in full sight of the enemies and there was absolutely no reaction from them. Or, how about the multiple times when I would kill an enemy, then the other enemies would come over and there would be no reaction to the dead body right in front of them. I guess that would have broken the game too huh? Chuckle.

Much crisper on PS4, better lighting, better shadows, even the models for the leaves look improved.

Yes, I am comparing title screenshots. Yes, we are that desperate. :p

I really wouldn't worry about it everyone. Here's the thing. if we say it's absolutely 60 and and someone goes somewhere and spins the camera constantly and creates explosions and water splashes while looking at epic giraffics and it dips to 59.9 and someone can tell, someone will want to sue papa sony for not being truthful in their ad/marketing materials or something. we just gotta be cautious. i don't think anyone where is going to be displeased by the performance - except dark10x maybe. but that's dark10x and we included that 30fps mode for those 2 out of 8 times he prefers 30fps.

while this question came up a lot today because that's their job, I didn't see anyone doubt we've got a solid looking and frame rate-ing game.

If we lock it at 30, do you tweak any effects to compensate? Thinking motion blur particularly which might want to be turned up at 30 vs 60?

And what do you do with cutscenes? Do you play them back at 30 by skipping frames or something? Doesn't look odd?

It's already known enemy AI does not react to friendly AI during stealth, it's a design choice they made in order to avoid frustration of you getting screwed because your friendly AI made a mistake.

About enemies that reacts to bodies, human enemies do react when they see a dead body, monsters not, i don't recall enemy AI watching a body and ignores it, he always enters alert mode, maybe you had a bug.

I'm sorry but for someone who has stated that they haven't played the game yet, you sure do have a lot of stuff to say about the gameplay...

[... interesting quotes ...]

So which is it? You seem to have already made a decision on the quality of the game that's for sure.

I think delt is referring to not playing the Remastered version yet.
Oh, for me two different versions of a game are still the same game.

Of course why would you be interested in a game whose gameplay you thought was bad?
When I say I don't like the gameplay of BioShock Infinite then that holds true for 720p, 792p, 30 fps, 1080p, 60 fps, variable frame-rate with microstuttering.

When they remaster it at 1440p and 120fps I would not be too concerned.

But yeah, your interpretation is probably right.

Are these editors that write for all the platforms?
It's Podcast Unlocked, the Xbox team. The name derives from the upcoming dGPU reveal.
