Sabagebu is clever in its stupidity. Its deployment of physical slapstick, fourth-wall breaking humor with the narrator, amusing contrasts between the pleasant exterior and the vicious interior of the girls, and the farcical violence is spot-on.

Im happy that my original decision to go with team big hat loli was the correct one.
geneon released some nice stuff but it was pretty pricey.
It wasnt really packaged in an exciting way with a lot of extras, just the discs were better quality and the artwork was nice.
Im enjoying these.

Maaya Uchida speaking English. The rest of the episode was a nice little one-off case, but getting that little moment is enough to make me perfectly content. I know the animation has some things that'll probably be fixed on the video releases, but I'm really not finding the fanservice that intrusive. This episode was pretty light, unless you're the kind of person who enjoys train sounds. I think of train sounds as the sort of thing being given out by a monkey hand puppet, but it works. The cases are foreshadowed and solved pretty simply, but like with a lot of things, it's all about the characters. It's been a while since anime's had a cop-type show like this. One of the older/more obscure ones is next up on my backlog.
A beach episode sounds fun, but more important is Minori Chihara earning her keep on the show, once again playing an idol singer within its context.

The English speaking Detective Conan community can't catch a break (although this time it was manga translations that they went after rather than the anime translations). Pretty gutless on the parts of the rights holders given how little they're doing with the series in the US.

I've never been a victim of the Sunrise poor-sequel-engine, but hearing other people talk about it does make me worried. I'll go in with expectations of a fun show.

on the flip side, the least I have spent on anime on a value per disc basis is for Cardcaptor Sakura. All of it. 18 discs. How much? 80$ !!!!

They still are last I checked, but they're also probably around seven years behind anything that they were actually going after, which makes the move a bit dumb (kind of like FUNimation going after subs of the latest episodes when they aren't providing anything past Episode 123).
I mean, they have the legal right to do this, but it seems a bit dickish to do so, and just kind of continues the sad way the series has been treated over here.

I had dat 'gasm and replayed this a few times. You knew SHIT GOT REAL when he was ready to snap. You know what the sad part is? He's stunting THE WHOLE TIME. He fucking somersaulted and juggled pistols upside down while shooting accurately.
This is the biggest PWNED moment, IMHO, since Setsuna went ET on dudes and spawned powers out of his ass. Jesus Yamato envies his ability to ass pull. LOL at the President being stunned that he's that good. 'The fuck she did expect? He's above that school, their caste system, and all the administrators.
He's an elite special forces soldier pretending to be a student, IMHO. I need a spinoff series focused solely on him. Send him on espionage missions. He's a genius pretending to have a pseudo sister complex.
The really messed up part is that he could've kept going but saw that they had an advantage and trusted in his teammates. Certain arcs could've ended in a week if he showed his full potential. Hopefully their victory demonstrates that the caste system needs to go. All of them are the elites of the school. Morisaki someone shooting high velocity arrows at pictures of Tatsuya somewhere. I might buy this on blu-ray if they ever release dubs.
This might be anime of the summer but then again I need to review some more material.

Kotonoha is so faithful it's scary. She will have her man and no one can take him from her. But she doesn't have to worry for Makoto is the best BF any girl could ask for. He is so responsible and caring that he has decided to join the student council to take over for a sick classmate! Way to go Makoto! He also won't let other girls boss him around, no sir! He'll keep Kotonoha on his phone's whitelist for he is a swell guy that wants to talk with his girlfriend when she is feeling down or upset. Continue doing what your doing Makoto for every girl in the school wants to be your GF!

The problem is that G Gundam takes itself seriously and try's to tell a "serious" story. TTGL from the start established it was dumb fun. Even if this show was going for it the first 12 episodes aren't fun.
Interesting. Again I say the show has a problem with what it's trying to do. It's self serious in almost everything it does.

Beyond the atrocious dialogue this episode wasn't actually that bad. Rain fanservice aside this was actually decent. There was actual tension. Domon seemed like he was in real danger (
). Plot finally moved forward. Domon was a dumbass but that wasn't the point. We had a fight that was actually interesting and didn't end in one move.

Yeah this much better, and had my interest all throughout the episode. The set up/exucution of the plan when attacking Bowl haircut guy was really well done. I'm glad the students seem to be smart and capable. Even if that is pretty common in animu.
Glad there is some female military representation. They come off as being very competent , so I can only expect good things from them.
My qualms with the MC were actually pretty much rectified this episode. He has emotions I mean just look at that smile! Nahh, but seriously that ending line he finished with was great.
If he had been all emotional it wouldn't have that much of an effect. I'm 99% sure I've heard that said before in other anime, but this may be the first time were I actually really liked hearing it.
Slaine was really great, and can't wait to see more of him now. Overall my biggest gripe with this episode was the music direction. The singing during the attack was not pleasant at all. Perhaps it's just me not liking her voice, but the power vocals just didn't work for the attack scene.
