Both Keyes' and Cortana's eyes look odd, and 343GS is way too small compared to how big he was in the original game. But then again, it's all WIP s oit may improve, that being said it is gorgeous.

Wait. Is Miranda wearing eye liner?

Stuck out to me for some reason. :lol. I really like the redesign though... just the Elites look a bit odd to me

What do you all think Zanzibars new interactive feature will be? I'm hoping it's a button that speeds the turbine up. Wind pushing players around in the front, sucking players in from the back, and killing anyone unfortunate enough to be in the wrong place, at the wrong time.

Is it just me, or aside from Chief and Johnson do a lot of the Blur assets look off? Maybe it's just that the Halo 2 art style doesn't translate well to high-fidelity CG.

brb getting Xbone

Honestly thinking the same, despite all my concerns and general lack of interesting in gaming outside few exceptions.
Halo 2 campaign is still my favorite Halo campaign... with those cutscenes... CGI rarely impresses me but seeing those moments again...
And Nightfall is interesting and the fact it comes with the MCC.... well, that's very nice.
That is the emotion speaking of course.

Rationally, i can't really justify 400€+ (assuming Kinectless version) for a console for just two games (the MCC and Halo 5) EDIT especially when PS4 offers much more power for the same price and also few interesting games (though nothing compared to Halo). There is nothing else interesting for Xbox One, and i very much doubt there will be anything interesting later on (i'm not counting games i might pick up from sales bins or as used for 5-15€).

They have some oddities yes. Miranda's eyebrows, Johnson's face, Half-Jaw's forehead/helmet. Might be just work in-progress stuff?

Anyone know which music track the trailer is supposed to be? Doesn't sound like anything from the H2OST I can recall (vol 1 or 2.) Quite nice though.

Ehhh. I'm not a huge fan.

I love how burnt up Arbiter's skin is.

It isn't burned, more like wrinkled IMO.

Which makes me ask, do we know how long Elites live? And just how old the Arbiter is?

EDIT that Zanzibar looks terrible. It should be warmer, not so cold-looking. More orange/yellow, more saturated. Also redo the 'Hog to look like its Halo 3/Reach iteration, the turret especially. Hell, redoing the turret would be enough.

...huh. Looks like the lower entrances were reworked, which seems smart. They were always a weird deathtrap unless you used them in the first 30 seconds of the game.

But I really don't understand why the mid-base pillars appear to be removed. They were a huge part of Assault, and the open nature of Last Resort's base is a big reason it was such a step back.

Reading about fusion coils. Containers for superheated plasma?
Must be some miracle tech, both holding the plasma stable AND as plasma. Scale that up and you get rather dangerous bombs. (The Covie weapons don't actually store plasma, though their ability to guide it at distance is another miracle tech).

Halo is an odd case of unrealistic science fiction (make that no-science fiction like most so called scifi are) i like though its unrealistic aspects bother me still. Especially when a lot of them could have been explained much better without anything actually changing.
Were i introduced Halo today without previous experience with it, i wouldn't like it. I prefer more realistic scifi, something with the science part...
