Thinking about how Satou Satomi went from voicing K-On!'s Ritsu to Hyouka's Chitanda and Seitokai Yakuindomo's Aria is interesting.

Has she done any roles closer to her Ritsu voice since K-On!? I haven't watched everything she's been in.
I think it's also seasonal? Maybe it's just my perspective shifting seasonally, but there seems to be a large influx around a certain time, then it dials back and, as you said, you see who stays and who goes. Some of us never leave though... forever doomed to bear witness to the perpetual failing and saving of the industry.

Precure , why areyouuuuu SO gooooood ?
This episode ... hit all the right notes , the reveals about Axia , the constant " Himelda Window Cure Queen of the blue sky " from Iona .. the shopping antics , the late arrival of honey and lovely , everything was perfect.
Including this battle.
Trully the most creative way to use monsters in a while. Toei is bringing their A-game for happiness charge and i ain't complaining.
Blue is hiding something , given the restrictions Blue has on the precure i'm sure that
this is the only way that make sense , but toei can screw their writting like they did with the last part of dokidoki. Hopefully they have listenned to the complains.
And i hope the team is complete. No need to add more people , just sell more cards , toei.. The team is perfect as it is.

Non Non Biyori OVA (1??)

Speaking of personal discovery, Non Non Biyori is interesting because it tackles that arc from a more standard (although not for anime) position of a child discovering the world. So rather than being about a shy girl trying to break out of her shell, you have an arc that is focused on a girl asking existential questions:
And, like the series proper, it works great because it gives you an opportunity to see the world through childlike eyes. Most people probably don't remember their thinking process when they were in first grade, but you can readily identify with wanting to understand the world and being tentative about the nature of change.
So, of course you can have sequence where Renge says goodbye to all the landmarks in her home. It's more than just a cute girl doing something cute though, as it represents a moment of transition between adolescence and maturity. She is as much saying goodbye to her own childlike worldview as she leaves her home to experience new things.
She'll be gone for a bit, but when she returns her "worldview" will have changed and she will be a completely different person, bursting with new experiences.
Indeed, showing her at the airport is enough to show that she is learning and growing into a different person, and having her final shot be of her looking out an airplane window into the wonder of the infinite possibilities below her is a fitting representation of the new person that she will become:
Of course, Is The Order A Rabbit/GochiUsa, Chino is very much in the same situation as well. After all, she is a child being exposed to new experiences. But Non Non Biyori is very much about self-discovery. Renge is a child exploring the world on her own; while she is guided by the others when she asks them about the world, but she is not being led by them.
I have to imagine there will be a second OVA where they actually land in Okinawa and Renge has adventures there, but you almost don't need it to happen. I don't know if Yoshida wrote this particular episode, but in a way, it's a bit similar to the K-On! OVA where the girls get their passports. It's not necessarily the destination that's important, but the journey.

But since you need to buy the manga to get the OVA, it seems kind of pointless to advertise the manga right at the end. But hey, why not?

I dunno, she was going all "Call me onee-chan! Call me onee-chan!" to this girl she just met. I don't think I'd mind this from a side character, but it kinda turns me off when it's one of the first interactions in the show. Soldier girl's introduction being her pointing a gun at her in her underwear was kinda bleh too.
Plus I don't believe I'm familiar with the protagonists you've mentioned, so I guess my genki meter may not be as well calibrated as yours, lol.
The explanation is easy, MangaGAF don't have people complaining. Here we have a vocal fraction of people who feel uneasy when they see butts or click on links leading to butts, even when tagged. I think duckroll is reacting most of the time on calls of people like these.

Episode 89 is probably the most "anime" episode of Legends of the Galactic Heroes. It so adorable it cracks me up. Bishounen romance, I bet the girls love it. It is also one of the few instances in the entire series will you see a female nipple (if you don't blink), so I guess it's got something for everyone.
