Damn, you have terrible taste.
I'm still bitter about AnimeGaf failing to vote for Rozen Maiden in AOTY.
I really enjoyed Rozen Maiden and it was ok in the end. But I really wasn't a fan how it concentrated on the dolls again. I mean, yeah, it's called Rozen Maiden, but I was actually very happy without them. The alternative world was interesting enough and even the small incursions of Suiginto, evil doll and ... douche doll. But anyone above that was too much. I wished that it would've been more about adult protagonist and his struggle with life instead of dolls dolling it out.
I don't think it's bad. I am just disappointed.
my video game backlog is 600+ and my animu is 100+
Well, anime are more expensive than video games, I guess.
smh, disappointed in you right now.
Disappointment from Mokoi? Now I'm really sad :(

Rozen Maiden definitly not.
It had an interesting set-up, but the interesting mystery vanished when we entered episodes of useless puppet fighting.

It was my #1 show even though there were better shows than it. Would of voted for it, but wasn't approved to post.

You can just watch Zurückspulen. The first episode is recap of the series. And watching the original series isn't as helpful as you'd think because it diverged from the manga and did its own thing, and Zurückspulen is based off where the manga ended up.

New series can be watched without the old. In fact, the first episode suffers from being an extremely compressed version of the events before the new series takes place. It's given room to breathe and be something really special after though.

Good to know! I'll be sure to check it out soon.

I'm surprised at how many people dislike this opinion. I'd forgotten that I DID watch all of the latest series, which was far far better dealing with Jun's daily life than it was with the Alice Game. Where the original show managed some fairly dynamic action sequences, Zuruckspulen 's ending was a fairly damp squib (outside of Kirakishou, perhaps) as the interesting drama was entirely character based. Suigintou's past was dealt with fairly well, but the original series had done it fairly effectively as well so I guess there wasn't much for me to get out of it.

Maybe it's the idea of the whole show not being worth recommending that people object to? It's still well directed enough to be worth a watch and has some well crafted visual moments, but the climax still doesn't live up to the rest of the show.

Sword Art Online II ep 4

qua1tyirs5a.jpg

QuA1ty spelling strikes back again.

At least this show stays one consistent about real life, it's gamer males still trying to hit on girls(?) avatars.

Kirito already putting his batman prep time into use by predicting the prediction lines like a fucking boss. It's time for him to put down the mantle and become a jedi.

I must say Yoshisugu Matsuoka is a talented VA with his acting of a really feminine looking guy.

So does studio Mir work on any anime? They largely do Avatar work and are based in South Korea, but with that talent you'd think somebody would have hired them by now for anime.

I was actually surprised. I thought I was just going to have to suspend my disbelief that Sinon didn't think he sounded male. Sure, this still sounds fairly male, but I didn't think they would have Matsuoka change his voice at all.

I don't know if I am express myself not properly enough. But yes, I agree fully with what you wrote.

Rozen Maiden haters are the worst
I don't hate Rozen Maiden, I have a Suiginto cushion ffs :(

Sword Art Online II 04

In this episode, Kirito easily succeeds at a minigame that cheats on his first day and then give obvious tips to the long time players because he is more Newtype then everyone else.

And it looks like Kirito will still use swords in this gun MMO. And that is a fucking lightsaber. I don't care what you call it, beam saber, energy sword whatever. That is a lightsaber.
It has the hum.

At least this game seems to have some systems unlike the other two.

SAO II 04

You know that may have been the most enjoyable SAO episode so far (of the entire series). The beginning was actually moderately funny, Sinon was quite likable (friendly to new players, ain't that nice!) and this time around I actually felt like they were in a game environment for once.

That said... holy Kirito Christ. I just...why is he so perfect?

"This minigame is impossible."
"Not for me it isn't."

"These buggies are really hard to drive."
"I played a lot of racing games. I got this babe."

I bet SAO's own author prays to Kirito every night. Oh well, at least, for now, he isn't any good at shooting.

In SAO II...

Why are all the guy avatars in GoG middle aged or older men? Oh wait silly question it is to make Kirito seem even more desirable. Silly me.

Glasslip 3

Too much off-putting fanservice in this episode for a show that doesn't need it. After 3 episodes and all the driving force for these characters is a love triangle, a transfer student love rival, and a guy who can't confess to a sick girl archetype who will probably nearly die. Very slow burn for something that could be more fun.

Clannad After Story 1

And we open with Akio breaking something. Of course.

Oh hey, I remember that episode of Denpa Onna.

Is that fan CG? It's really distracting.

Sunohara bashing never gets old. Especially when done by Tomoyo's feet.

A sob story already.
Okazaki is a great liar.

Hey Akio, Sunohara needs that hand! For...schoolwork. Yeah, let's go with that.

When did Kotomi become Yuki Nagato?

And I should mention that I find baseball terribly dull. Only instance I enjoyed was FLCL.

Huh, that was an interesting cut at the end.

Oh really? I like baseball episodes in really any anime. It usually brings a whole bunch of characters together and shows them all overcoming(or failing) something. But I can see how some would find it dull I guess.

And yes... dat ending cut.... ;)

Damn it, was just about to point this out as well.

Is so weird, especially since Kirito looks exactly like he did 3 years ago. There's pretty much a design for teenager characters and then suddenly a gap for adults. I mean some of these dudes are probably in the high twenties or low thirties and yet, Kirito who's nearing the age of 20 or so doesn't look like that whatsoever.

Oshii-led Urusei Yatsura was Studio Pierrot. After he quit the show changed hands to Studio DEEN, who started work on Maison Ikkoku after it finished.
They also had a significant share of the magical girl market during the 80's in addition to KOR.
More recently, anything influenced by their studio's privileged son Tetsuya Nishio is worth looking at in the visual department. Adaptation works like Ninku or Yu Yu Hakusho got crazy creative on their animation, and even more recent efforts in-between other projects as is Legend Of The Millennium Dragon had interesting aspects, but as I said not that many to make it a stand-out.

Also, much courage is necessary to give for their current longest running productions that support the studio financially those 'risqué' opportunities to an untamed Atsushi Wakabayashi, or to upcoming young stars like Shingō Yamashita, among others.

So does studio Mir work on any anime? They largely do Avatar work and are based in South Korea, but with that talent you'd think somebody would have hired them by now for anime.
That wouldn't be as profitable.

Aldnoah.Zero Episode 4:

Yes indeed, this is getting better by the episode and I dare say it is better then Terror in Resonance at this point. The Martian assault is relentless and devastating, and we get insight into why those who wish to see the conflict resume would enact upon it there is very large question lingering over this whole affair. Why did they stop the first go around? Anyway, I am getting concerned about a few things though
the already looming love triangle and these kids seems to be a little too competent for their own good.

God, you surely love Mitsuru Adachi.

So yeah they stick largely with western animation.

SAO 2: 4

God dammit Kirito-kun, everybody who has had to work their asses off to get fucking anything in an MMO hates you now more than ever. Does this game have no decency? Can anybody who is fucking level 0 get any weapon? What about fucking levels? Are weapons/armor not locked by that?

Also the whole long-hair feminine body thing is so anime. God damn. Why do I even try in games like Destiny if Kirito-kun is as incandescent as the sun and will get anything he wants because game superpowers.

It really depends on what the designers want to do.

Sometimes a 2-5 year time skip will result in a drastic change while some characters might not change much in appearance even after 10+ years.

I suppose there are real life examples as well like the various before/after comparisons you can find online and Tom Cruise.

Not to mention everyone except Kirito and Shion shown, thusfar, are males.

This does not happen in MMOs like at all!

I know you don't like SAO, but he's not level 0, so even if there was a level lock out on weapon/armor, it wouldn't matter. It was mentioned a couple episodes ago that characters can be converted to other games. You lose all your items and currency, but your stats get converted to the other game's.

Aku no Hana 9

This episode really got to me.

So Kasuga did this really fucked up thing, and as a result, he's now under the impression that he's some sort of irredeemable freak with no future. (He's certainly got issues, but he's still just a kid). But even in spite of all that happened, there are people still reaching out to him. Even after all that's happened, Saeki is still willing to give him a fair shake and ask him his side of the story. Even after finding out what he did, his Mom is still trying her absolute best to understand him.

What i'm trying to get at is that, yeah, what he did was supremely awful, but it's nice that there are people who care about him, no matter what the circumstances. It's kind of heartwarming.

EDIT:

Mom of the fucking year right there

If you've never played Half Life 2, you're doing it wrong. Play it now!

That said I still haven't watched Akira. :3
I started to play. Then zombies appeared and I bailed. I hate dark tunnels and zombies, nothing good come ever out of that. Every time I meet one he wants to kill me.
And for the ultimate shame, I needed half an hour to get to the house in the first minutes of Alan Wake. I am scared easily. That's why I wear a mask and stab everything that moves in the dark. Can't help it, the world is scary.

I don't like baseball anime (or really sports anime in general). I just like a sports episode. It's a break in the usual things characters will do for any given episode in a RomCom or Slice of Life or Harem or....
Oh. Well, it can be nice. It's a least not as used as the random won travel to a hot spring or the beach.

Maybe it's a different mind set with FPS players but playing the destiny beta I didn't see nearly as many female characters wandering as I did other MMOs.

You are weak!
Was it Ravenholm? Because that scared me too the first time going through. Now I just run past everything cause zombies are slow.

Nah, it was shortly after they were introduced and I had to go through the sewers. I knew that it wouldn't get less scary from there so I just dropped it.

Kirito use mothafuckin' lightsaber, this is some ingenious shit..
Lightsaber? Isn't that game about guns? Or is a gun not phallic enough for femJesus?
Nahh I knew what you were getting at. The climax was weak, and was just poking fun at you :p
You almost broke my heart there :,(
Heh, I have Suiginto themed mouse-pad that I use when playing shoot-bangs.
Nice!
I tried to take pictures, but I seem to be unable to make a selfie and hold the cushion in front of my face.

Well to be fair his avatar isn't actually female. He mentioned something when he logged in about the game generating a character which probably means that you don't get to create your own character like he did in the previous game.

I also finally finished Toradora after a couple years hiatus ( I don't even remember why I stopped in the first place). Overall I really enjoyed it. I would have raged though if not for the
after credits scene in the last episode.

Plus, Kirito is government-funded. I thought they explained it fairly well in the last episodes that it's a game which can be farmed and turned to profit. The goverment is obviously helping Kirito with whatever means to investigate, which may include in-game currency and items.

Haters gonna hate.

Man if you think that's scary you should play Slenderman. Its spooky as hell but it's funny seeing a real thin creature pop out of nowhere.

It's a unique experience.

That disparity in quality.
A pierrot for an pierrot. Besides, I like Kingdom. It has some flaws, like a lame beginning arc and ugly cgi soldiers, but it's still enjoyable. For me at least.

I watched a bit of ... Pewdiepie's let's play I think. His screaming takes luckily most of the horror out of it.

Captain Earth 17

Nice double battle. Though the highlight of the episode was the return of Akari's Forte, and delivered directly to the camera, at that.
If all the Kill-T Gangs are sent out at once, I wonder if all three Engines will be enough. I hope this is a chance for Akari to get a robot of her own. But next episode is taking place in Australia. Least the boomerang fits in there.

Speaking of making a profit off GGO, I'm curious how much real world money that 300k credits Kirito got from the mini game is worth. Wonder if it's more or less than he's getting paid for this job, lol.

Imagine him going like "Holy shit, later Kikuoka, I'm out."

Onii-sama 17

Onii-sama hasn't had this many incest-like scenes in a while, a bit disturbing they should keep focusing on how badass he is instead of this 2lewd4school plot line.

In this episode onii-sama gets angry for his sister, then proceeds to explain for the millionth time in front of everybody how he can only have emotions when it comes to his sister and bla bla bla just go fuck already this is getting bothersome now how short is the attention span of everybody in this world and the audience if they can't remember this?

At least at the end he was all "they fucked with the wrong onii-sama" and is about to start some shit. Let the bodies hit the floor, LET THE BODIES HIT THE FLOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOR
