Maybe they thought Deep Down wouldn't be able to compete with the many other titles that bear a resemblance and have already been released, so they scratched it. Dragon Age, Witcher, Dragon's Dogma (which I bet is getting a sequel), Elder Scrolls, Dark Souls, etc.
