So I was thinking, shouldn't Sakurai's comments stating no plans for DLC make these recent leaks illegitimate?

What I mean is that if the leaker can reveal a few clear CSS inages, then why did they not show anything off ingame?

Oh right, faking icons and renders are easier to do than ingame actual screenshots.

I've only just noticed that I've been assigned to the team fake list despite making no formal deceleration, then again my three or four posts on the matter do lean heavily in that direction so there's no turning back now.
For the glory of a non shitty stage roster I will stand my ground.

Also it's not like smash 3ds wouldn't have some sort of ingame camera for taking pics like brawl either.

That's what makes me think this leaker wouldn't even have that information.

Don't worry, no avatar betting is happening on a list-wide basis at least where I'm concerned. People can do that shit individually or use the lists for that purpose if they want, but the lists I've been maintaining (and have been asked to maintain) are strictly just for fun.

It doesn't really mean much either way. A developer could outwardly say that they have no plans for DLC when behind the scenes the game is built to support it from the ground up and they're getting content prepped and ready for release shortly after launch.

Consumers wouldn't know either way, and you save face in the event your DLC would otherwise be seen as cheap or scummy. A leaker might be privy to that information, in that case.

It seems farfetched for the leaker to know, I agree.

But the game is pretty close to finished at this point. All the roster decisions are finalized and ready to go. Apparently, it's mainly just debugging that's left. The game may as well be finished, in terms of planning and design.

Except you're forgetting the part that this is supposedly just a video sent to the ESRB as review for the game's rating... notice that, if the CSS screens were of an actual 3DS there would.. I dunno be a clear divider between the two parts of the screens. But instead there isn't, the capture device used to make the video doesn't take that division into account.

Any attempt at a image leak has clearly indicated there was a 3DS in the screenshot taken. This one? There's no 3DS in sight.

Yeah just leave it there, but I'll be ignoring any avatar based tomfoolery.

This post could use more smash related substance, going back to that tier hopes stuff I just hope my favourites don't end up at the top, throw all types of mii as the bottom three.
