At least SSJ3 Goku was = to Kid Buu. Goku could handle him, but like with Fat Buu, he wanted others to try and prove their worth. Hell the only reason they became Vegito was because they were SOL against Buuhan.

I was definitely a fan of Pain being the final villain. Sad that it wasn't so and that all that came after him were so bad.
If you look at the hierarchy of villainy in the Narutoverse, it gets really bad. Found this funny (but sadly accurate) diagram:

I was definitely a fan of Pain being the final villain. Sad that it wasn't so and that all that came after him were so bad.
If you look at the hierarchy of villainy in the Narutoverse, it gets really bad. Found this funny (but sadly accurate) diagram:
I don't find it that accurate on several sections. Kabuto and Obito were basically manipulating each other. I doubt Hagaromo is manipulating Kaguya. His brother is a nobody. It's missing Itachi and Sasuke being manipulated. It's also missing Indra being manipulated. Lastly, it's missing Zetsu.
But at least kid buu did shit. He destroy planet earth, had a great fight with goku and went down to a super powerful attack. While Kaguya didn't do anything that bad.

She didn't do anything, basically just get revived at the worst possible time and get sealed right away. If the battle was replaced with Madera it would had being pretty awesome. (I though the fight was great, very dynamic with the different backgrounds, a really solid team of Sakura, Kakashi, Obito, Sasuke and Naruto, nice strategies, sweet combos, cool moves etc...)

I was reading an old chapter today and re-discovered this conversation. I thought the parallel to the development of the actual manga was pretty damn funny. If Kishimoto really feels this way about a good series, he owes us a Part 3.

ehh if you're talking about the Kage Summit Arc, I think it's pretty good. Sasuke vs. the Gokage is one of the best fight in the series IMO.
The arc after it (Turtle Island) is turrible though.

Just read naruto, do not know how to feel about it. Some reason it felt way to easy, Is she dead? What were the shadows in her sleeves again I can not rmemeber, did naruto kill them when he punched her into the big boulder hanging above. Please dont tell me its over now it seemed way to simple "congrats you saved the world" end with filler and where the characters end up ugh.

did they get killed because narutos mom lost the nine tails while she was giving birth to naruto with the help of "madarra/obito" and minato lost his life because he used a sacrifice justsu to seal the nine tails in naruto and seal some of himself in narutos subconscious

Yeah. IMO, the series has been consistently good with a couple of low points:
-Sasuke and Sai arc. Not terrible, but not great. The "reborn team 7" concept never took off and the best thing to come out of this arc was seeing Sasuke for the first time post-TS and the first namedrop of Madara. No real battles of substance happened and even Naruto's three (four?) tailed form wasn't terribly interesting.
-Shinobi World War (Sage Kabuto as main villain). Itachi's parting monologue to Sasuke is one of the best, most heartfelt moments in the series, but everything else was terrible. This part of the arc felt like filler. Fighting zombies of previous ninja was dumb, the jinchuuriki were a cool concept but their fights were boring, Tobi did a lot of talking about nothing, Turtle Island was boring as shit, the Kyuubi was completely demonsterfied and that entire piece of the story lost a lot of its appeal... Kisame's fight was alright, though. Don't get me started on how stupid the Kinkaku/Ginkaku brothers were - that word game nonsense was so lame. And Darui and Samui, both really cool characters, were wasted on that fight.
The search for Tsunade arc was also a relative low point in part 1, but not to the degree of these two arcs.

The Pain arc ending was the peak of the series to me but there was lots of solid stuff after that. It was just also mixed with lots of ridiculousness and some funny pacing. But that doesn't discount the great things that happened after that arc. Kage summit alone was good. Hell, even this ninja war has some truly great moments. It just went on long.

Me. Whaa shes sealed and gone forever now? It all happened so fast. I thought that was just a triple punch and that she would need a lot more punishment to bring down. This is for the best though. i concur during this journey sasuke has really lost his thirst for revenge now, they have broken the bond between the senju and uchiha annual fight. I hope there is something else however because it seems so anti-climactic
