@ that fake list: Super Mario Sunshine 3D wouldn't be too bad with 1st person gyro water shooting. But remember: There's already a 2D and 3D Mario on the 3DS. Nintendo never does more than one of each per generation usually. With the improved 3D Effect on the n3DS, however, I wouldn't be surprised if they announced a Super Mario 3D Land 2.

That better be fake. Save the Sunshine remake for a console, ffs.
It was confirmed in the Direct, but that probably only means support for the analog nub - don't think any of the games shown outside of Xenoblade use the additional horsepower for anything, and only Smash would support the built-in NFC chip. And considering the nub probably behaves like a regular Circle Pad Pro, every game supporting that could be considered "New 3DS enhanced" I guess.

Mhh nah. Sunshine on 3DS would be better, because Gamecube geometry would hurt on WiiU while it's not a problem on 3DS. WW HD looks great but the gamecube geometry also hurts the visuals.

I wonder how many developers have access to New 3DS yet actually. With how bits and pieces of previous systems got leaked and yet we heard nothing here you have to point a different picture...
Unless I missed any rumors of a 3DS revision with two sticks and more buttons?

You are right, but I love rumors because the discussions and the excitement are always fun regardless if fake or not,thats why I'm sharing them.
I think some important third party developers already have the 3DS, maybe Ubisoft and Activison, as well as Nintendo's second party studios.

Completely fake for me. The "© Nintendo" is the real evidence for me. Would have it been "© Nintendo Co. LTD", why not... But not this one.
I suppose devs like Capcom and Square Enix were already aware of the device, since their games are among those "enhanced".

To let them know they don't have to rush crap out of the gate as there will be plenty to play (I'm looking at Ubisoft here) is the only advantage I can think of.
Aren't the Japanese price points similar to the current models so I would say within 10-20 of currency of the current 3DS and 3DS XL prices. I'd go as far as to speculate they will be getting phased out (so might a discount of same). May be possible also for the 2DS to go even lower (before anyone goes £65 console with £40 games :lol:...the Game Boy was like that in 1993)
While it is in poor taste to speculate on bannings, I'd look at thier post history. I notice a pattern of a lot of self promotion be it their youtube videos (which are sometimes reuploads of ones that already exist on youtube) or tweets. Maybe the EA thing was the breaking point though.

That IGN forum story is bullshit and we all know it...but I can actually remember rumours about firmware 8.0 being relevant for the future of eShop, and something like that. Don't remember exactly what was said, though. Maybe a little research could help?
Most developers didn't know anything about the New 3DS until the Nintendo Direct and the specs weren't posted on warioworld until afterwards. So yeah it's far less likely that one of the few developers who were let in on it pre-announcement would leak anything.
I'm not going to confirm or deny the accuracy of any claimed leaks, but when they can't even get the original 3DS specs right you can be fairly certain it's fake
Mmh...this means that now indie developers as well are aware of new 3DS specs, right?

-18 came with an update to it as did -19 (both firmware 8.x series, -19 was probably to make you update to connect*). It was not understod what was updated in the 8.x series when it first came out and what would make it go up a whole firmware so it was speculation based on the eShop being updated. In hindsight it is likely Japanese New 3DS is shipping with firmware 8.0.0-18 as the memory offsets stuff point in that direction.
* Curiously the 6.x series of firmware never had an eShop updates.
Yes, I really should stay away from these threads before I accidentally let anything slip. Still just the specs though, no new developer hardware available or updated tools yet. I'm not very interested in using the new hardware personally though, just happy if it can extend the 3DS lifetime.

So now the new 3DS will have roughly all the same buttons/lnputs as a Wii U, is it possible we could see some more Handheld/console interaction?
(It'd be neat if we could use the new 3DS to stream off tv play for games that require the gamepad and TV screen, of course I doubt that will happen with this handheld)

Twilight Princess, really now, that is just reaching. Game was too popular in the Wii to be remade just a generation later already. Would be more believable if they put Majora's Mask, since people have been asking for this since OoT 3D.
