How often can you get card drops from games where you already have had all drops from? Just got another CSGO card and it kinda freaked me out.

I'm not sure about CS:GO but F2P games give you a new card drop for every $9 spent. I assume CS:GO adopts the same.

Hey JaseC, did you find Train Fever for cheap anywhere?

The name drop of Transport Tycoon in the description had me laughing but seeing all the overly positive reviews peaked my interest.

Only €0.28 to go until I have paid of CS:GO and the breakout pass I paid €9.18 for Aug 15. That was faster than expected.

never?
That's really nice bug, I wouldn't mind getting this one instead of annoying in numbers, for once.

So, anybody else thinking that the San Andreas movement might be caused by PC version of GTA V being delayed (canceled even?).

Rockstar said it wasn't cancelled, so... Regardless, it doesn't make much sense to keep the original port around when they could update it to be more inline with the W8 store version.

This might be new too:

If I remember correctly, this feature has been present since retail patch v1.1

Yeah, I bought it through a trader. I'm not sure how much I paid for it exactly as I purchased it in addition to a bunch of other stuff, however judging from the price you're look at 7 keys.

Thank you. I'll wait and see if it's worth it.

Let me show you through these halls, my friend, where treasures of indie gaming await...
Reposting my sale recommendation:

Echo of the Wilds - 50% off at €3,50
Steam: http://store.steampowered.com/app/305780/
Demo: http://caiysware.com/demo/Echo_of_the_Wilds_Demo_Win.zip

My own Youtube video impressions:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6Cx4s_z6b-U&feature=youtu.be

Its one of those games where its best if you dive into it yourself and just explore the mechanics and overall game world instead of having someone else play it for you, but I think the video does a pretty decent job at explaining the basic mechanics and giving an insight on how the game plays. Its basically a mystery survival game. You are stranded on an island with strange dreams and need to make sure to survive. In the best survival game fashion, this requires you to collect stones, berries and wood to eventually make better equipment and improve on your normal and simple daily routines.

However the game is far from being standard, but I dont want to spoil too much, lets just say that the campaign is rather inventive and manages to stay fresh and interesting in regard to certain aspects of how the story is presented. The graphics and animations are carefully designed, the audio design is subtle but unintrusive and the writing very charming (even though admittedly some lines are a tad cheesy). The actual gameplay mechanic (survival) works very well too, which I didnt expect for a smaller game that seems a bit simple at first and also seems to have enough content. I played 1 hour and maybe finished 1/4th to 1/5th of the story campaign and still havent touched the endless mode. Even if the game only ends up being 4-5 hours long, its just very good at being what it is, so no matter what the final playtime ends up as, this game is good, really good, and I have no issue at all fully recommending it.

Be warned that its hard. In one try, I finally managed to create some stone tools, and shortly dived afterwards because I relied too much on my tools and didnt have resources backed up to make new tools once my old ones broke, which left me with no food or firewood. That didnt feel like I progressed much at all, not to mention all of those areas that I couldnt access yet because I didnt have ropes/equipment/clothing yet or the countless other statues and mysteries that still remained unsolved.

For those generally liking survival games but having a slight fatigue on those games, I heartily recommend giving it a try. As I said before, it deviates from the usual design of those games in quite a few ways, and still manages to feel unique, mysterious and challenging. Plus its cheap. And lovely. Actually, if I had more time on my hands, that game really deserves its own thread, but oh well. Steam thread post will need to be enough for now :p

Some other impressions from the Indie thread:
Adjusted my voting list, with Echo of the Wilds at #3. Absolutely love the art style and beautiful, unsettling, sometimes surreal atmosphere. It's an interesting blend of story, survival, and exploration, more narrative focused than other similar games I've played. Like Toma mentioned, the survival elements are deeper and more challenging than they initially seem.

Echos of the Wild is very good, hard and a bit creepy as well.

Ah, I'd love to join but I don't know the rules very well and I don't have Tabletop Sim installed. If you set up any more games in the coming days I'll join for sure

Gentlemen, we can rebuild it. We have the capability to make the world's first enhanced store. Steam will be that store. Better than it was before.
So I tallied everything up and I've finished 45 games so far this year - not bad.

If you want to see what I've been up to and my mini-impressions of each game, take a look.

You get a card for every $9 you spend in-game, for CS:GO if you bought any keys or operation passes this would count towards that.

side note: with alien isolation amd codes coming on launch day, this means it won't be nostromo edition... will that be sold as an add on? SEGA pls

As long as prices in Canada only go up 10% then things will remain the same. Now will taxes start being taken now? If so then I will start buying steam keys on other sites now for a large part.

The Russians will get much more of my business :)

I do hope they don't start charging 70 per game, I hate that price.

It's all right, if you can install it now and want to join tonight, just add me (link in profile) and I'll explain the rules as we go.
I played with 4 newbies yesterday and it went great, even if it took like 4 hours :D
I'll surely set up more games the coming days though.

You won't get extras. It won't depend on activation day, but what package codes are for.
It will be sold almost guaranteed.

It looks like Rockstar is doing something with San Andreas.

So somebody that I don't know forwarded me a racist email, thinking I was a friend of theirs.
[...]
This sort of thing happens to me all the time, although usually I'm getting shouted at for having asthma by people I've supposedly dropped in on who are "too empathetic", or getting invited to bachelor parties in America (I'm from the UK).

How do I get on your mailing lists? This is much more exciting than my mail.

They definitely added support for xinput. You can now use the triggers!

The beta isn't pw protected yet. It's a 332mb download if anyone wants to try it out.

One thing I noticed is that the vanilla game recognizes my arcade stick (dinput) as my main controller, meaning I'd have to disable it before playing. The beta recognizes my Xinput controller instantly and ignores the other. Everything seems to be mapped perfectly.

Good news that you found that out, it was one of my mine gripes with it, but it seems the beta is now password protected I think.

I'm shocked you guys still read random mail, all mail from anyone not in my contacts gets autodeleted, I don't even glimpse it. I started to use this after masive MMO related spam/scam bot activity, never went back.

Munchkin really rocks. Got a lot of hilarious hours on it with friends.
Can't join you though. But yeah people, it's not hard at all to learn.
