Anybody else extremely curious why Gematsu said Chorus Men? Like, they clearly had insider info. But with a few fakes thrown in also? :/

They got me really excited for Chorus Men. Ah well, the roster is still fantastic.

I just really wanna hear from the original leaker, and know the full story

Honestly, I really doubt they did.
Wii Fit Trainer was a really lucky guess, as was the Villager to some extent. But the rest were either extremely obvious choices or vague predictions that played it (mostly) safe. He was flat-out WRONG about some things. Sure, you could blame it on outdated info, but mix it all together and it just doesn't smell right to me...

Maybe DLC? With Snake? Maybe an Amiibo exclusive character?

Nah, it's looking like the ESRB leak was the full roster.

If Chorus Men is not in the launch game I'm expecting a reveal trailer with them for DLC.

bolded is bullshit, no offense

but while in hindsight some of these guesses might seem obvious let's see how many players figured them as 'obvious choices' before E3

Yeah, Wii Fit Trainer was a 100% accurate GUESS involving a name few people used for a character nobody else on the internet expected.

90% right blah blah blah

The only thing our leak was really "flat out wrong" on was Chrom and reveal times. And the Chrom thing could have been easily mistaken for "Fire Emblem: Awakening Protagonist" or having seen Chrom's in-game model, etc. I dunno, the leaker hasn't spoken to me since just before the Lucina and Robin reveal.

Also, people need to stop attributing the leak to lucky guesses, or "extremely obvious choices." That's so easy to say in hindsight, but in reality, they weren't. Wii Fit Trainer, Mega Man, and Villager, each by themselves were stretches. The fact that the leak had and got all three, in addition to seven others---they weren't lucky guesses.

I, too, want to know the fate of the Chorus Men, though. Have the early buyers unlocked every character yet?

There are any number of reasons your guy/gal may have said Chrom. Seeing him in Robin's final Smash, a snippet of Robin's victory or even a part of the trailer could have confused the person. It was super obvious he/she had some info.

Ok now can we talk about that Smash ghostly looking thing in the OP? I swear it's modeled after Ridley! What it is it on the first page? I hear it becomes other characters but big.

In addition, didn't they get "Mii Fighters" also? Guessing Mii is one thing, guessing they're name perfectly is another.
