We saw the full CSS in the leak though. ROB goes next to Duck Hunt pushing Ness down, and then for no reason in particular Shulk drops down and goes next to the third parties.

I am supremely happy that Ness is back. And that Magicant stage...oh my god, it made me shed a tear. It's looking like Lucas is indeed cut, which sucks, but hey we got Ness, right? I may be a bit biased though since I personally like Earthbound a bit better, although I do love Mother 3. Also, Ness is my main. As long as he's in, I'm happy. All I'm hoping for at this point is the Chorus Kids. That's literally all I'm asking for at this point.

Welcome! Personally, I'm still hoping for some sort of Mother 3 nod beyond trophy. It's one of my favorite games.

Yes, we do. We don't know what it looks like with both R.O.B. and Mii Fighter on it, though, and Mii Fighter clearly has its own slot on the bottom row.

Logic dictates Mii icon will be in the bottom row next to random but with Shulk bottom row all the way to the left.

That one had no Mii fighters on it, so it could be that both Shulk and Rob remain on the 2nd from last row while Mii fighters + the third parties + random are the bottom.

That's before they had Mii Fighters, though. Once they're unlocked, Shulk gets pushed back one to make room, adding him to the end of the second to bottom row.

That's not how it works. Think how much more time and resources they'd have: no 3DS version probably meant no cuts, 5+ newcomers more, everyone from Melee returning and a shitload of other modes.

3DS cartridges have been proven to hold up to 8 GBs of data. At launch, it's limited to 2GB, but developers are free to add more afterwards.

Correct me if I'm mistaken, but what I can remember:

Neutral Special: Fire cannonball and charge to do double or triple the damage

Side Special: Race across the stage in a buggy and spin out at the end

Down Special: Mecha-Koopa: Cargo bay opens on bottom of Clown Car and sends Mecha-Koopa scuttling across stage; can't deploy another one until first one expires

Up Special: Bowser Jr. ejects out of the Clown Car, the car falls and explodes, and Jr. can swing a hammer while tumbling through the air

Standing attack: Lashes enemy with tongue from Clown Car

Forward tilt: Punches with boxing gloves

Dash attack: Buzz-saw extends from mouth of Clown Car

DAIR: Drill-bit extends from bottom of Clown Car (lewd)

Down Smash: Twin wrecking balls slam the ground

Forward Smash: Strike with drill-bit arms

Up tilt (Up Smash?): Thrust giant fork upwards

Grab with a claw arm, twirl and throw, or drill under drill-bit

In Smash, characters come, go, change, that's just how it goes. That's actually the case for most fighting games really. It's harder with Smash because it's such an emotional, nostalgic experience.

Still, I guarentee you guys who are sad about losing your bros and mains (like I am about Lucas) are going to find new characters that you'll love just as much.

Definitely this. After fox got so neutered into the Brawl transition, Olimar quickly and somehow became my main guy forever.
