Ao Haru Ride 11 & 12
Kou and whats-her-name are pretty broken as a couple, but at least in this last couple of episodes Kou kinda came to his senses. Not much to say other than that, there was no major development I didn't see coming miles away, but that doesn't mean I was disappointed. I'd watch a second season for sure.

Awww, this was nice. Played out exactly how I expected it to go, but eh, there was no way all 5 girls wouldn't get to dance together. Are they completely unaware of the existence of the Internet, or do they live in an alternate universe in which it doesn't exist though?
And with that, there's only Barakamon and Zankyou no Terror left to wrap this season. A good one for me, I guess. Hopefully next season will also have it's share of decent shows. Nothing looks immediately interesting to me in that randomc preview blog post, but we'll see.

Neither one has closure. The 99 one just gave an ending that's up to interpretation by stopping mid-chapter. Reading the manga reveals they just made a heartfelt spectacle around a massive blue ball moment.

Maybe you guys never realised that i stopped giving my impression weekly of hxh , but that was because i wanted to enjoy the last 4 eps in a row ...
So Episode 145 had quite an amount of faces , all that was missing was hisoka but we got those 2 faces.
Episode was good , cheedle getting defeated , nanika cheat mode , an extra bitterness of killua..all's good.

Nozaki-kun is such a breath of fresh air compared to the garbage I've been watching the past few weeks. Already eight episodes in and sad it's going to end so quickly. I love the song in the OP, real catchy. One of the few shows I always watch the full OP every time.

Illumi gots plans , those aren't bad plans but since illumi is a GRADE SSSSSS+ asshole , i don't like it, in the end after a very well done scene ( i must admit i was freaking well done ) , killua manages to correct a mistake that could have costed a lot.
Image quality got a little worse during this episode ... i guess this is the sign of the end.

Is this after he used the card and arrived to where he was going? If so, I thought that was a really nice moment to conclude things with. If it was his dad, the journey ended. If not, it continued. A little ambiguity never hurt anyone.

Personally I think the ant arc was the worst arc of the anime. It could have been good if it wasn't so drawn out but there is so much garbage in the arc that it wasn't very fun to watch.

I'm just saying in the GI Final OVA, it was given the whole "conclusion" presentation while in the manga, there was no transition at all from the arrival and finding out it was Kite, which happened like right in the middle of the chapter.
Oh, I see. Was the viewer meant to assume it was Ging?

For like a panel. After that, Kite lifts up his hat and is like "oh hey Gon, what's up". It was really jarring going from the anime's ending (where it's STRONGY implied to be Ging) to that anticlimactic scene.

148 episodes of pure goodness.
York shin arc is still the BEST but i feel that they did every arc justice. especially the ant arc.
People might complain that the pacing was slow and it was indeed slower when compared to the other arcs but it was well done. I wanted the narrator and i got it... There is really not any way to adapt this arc without the narrator. Anyway , it felt right. On the contrary i feel that they went too fast on greed island but it was still ok.
Final rankings :
Yorkshin>ant >tower>greed >exam>election

Is this considered going overboard when everything shown here was bought 33 to 70 percent off at RightStuf?
Of the various OPs I've heard so far for this upcoming season, Vanadis is my current favorite. The chanting choir and Konomi Suzuki's vocals really capture the "epic fantasy" feeling. Though I say this knowing that Garo will have a JAM Project opening, which gives it a head start compared to every other series.

Wish I had a better idea of how that happened if they were going to have something where the two first met in the first place, something I've said all along they didn't need.
Anyway, no more Aria, fuck the world, etc.

Can someone explain the sense behind the failed attempts at trying to humanize the villains in this series? It not only is failing miserable but comes off like a joke all the viewers are in on but none of the characters acknowledge (which if they did, might have a chance to make it funny).
