Watch_Dogs |OT| PS4 would probably melt trying to do this

There goes my bike.

the drinking game was fun. i'd say the most enjoyable trophy in this game. you actually have to pay attention. collecting stuff was boring. getting tailed ridiculous. i had to use the notoriety reset trick to get anywhere. still took a few hours of idling.

Another game with woeful post game support. Did they even try to add or fix anything to the game afterwards? At least Infamous got photo made and the ability to select the time of day.

Haha, I love this. I'm happy with the Gang Hideout reset. These were my favorite parts of the game.

retuned drinking game? in what way?

They (FINALLY) adjusted the insane difficulty that prevented 99% of the people to finish this boring horribly designed mini game and thus, achieve platinum trophy/achievement.

Specifically:
- Increase round fail time by 20%. More time for player to finish.
- Increase button cycling time by 50%. More time between button switch.
- Increase player reticle radius by 25% in collect button mode. Allow easier button press succeeded on bad latency tv.
- Increase player reticle last frame velocity impact on this frame position (inertia friction) by 70%. The player reticle slow down faster when no input from player -> easier to stay on the spot targeted & More precise player control.
- Increase player input factor by 50%. More precise and more reactive player control.
- Reduce max force applied randomly to player reticle from 0.35 to 0.29. Less strong random impulse for drunk effect.
- Reduce moving target speed by 15%. Easier for player to time his button press on a target.

Tried it and it is indeed fixed, very easy now. Extremely easy I would say. But it is still boring as hell. lol

In other words, good news for trophy/achievement hunters out there.

I love the super-serious patch notes with all kinds of minor tweaks for a fucking drinking minigame, hah.

it wasn't boring, it was the best part of this whole game :) it's boring now because you got the trophy for free. they made it a collectible (like most ubi trophies). it's no longer a skill based trophy.

okay. I guess then this patch makes a lot of people happy except you. Best thing not to download it.

Because I wasnt going to spend an eternity trying to master that horribly designed and executed thing, just for bragging rights. :)

you have to download it to play online? and this patch doesn't make me happy or unhappy, i'm done with the game.

if you want to talk about horribly executed: other trophies were truly boring or broken altogether. the drinking game itself was fully functional. several trophies are walk up and collect stuff. the drinking game demanded a small fraction of your time, maybe 2-3 hours if you were good. the collectibles are usually the true time wasters. you already spend "an eternity" on forgettable things.

Sorry, i wasnt good and I wasnt going to bother with it cause I thought it was horrible. And honestly, so did the vast majority of the people who played the game. So you may be the exception, but the general rule is that almost everyone hated this drinking mini game. You think it was the best thing from the entire game... ok I guess.

Is there anyone that can help me boost the tailing trophy? I need to be tailed 3 or 4 times.

Edit: PS4 btw

Edit2: Nevermind. It just popped up now. That's the platinum done. Wohoo!!!

So do it here then? I don't see the point for a new thread.

Alrighty.

Pros- T-Bone>>>>>Aiden. Seriously, it's nice to go from such a flat personality to one with some character to him. Of course, I would have preferred to play as Jordi, but whatever.

- Street Sweep is great. It's not going to be truly "unlimited" content, but the daily challenge stuff is nice. Apparently the co-op is great as well. This is the sort of thing that was sorely missing from the core game.

Cons- everything you hated about Watch Dogs still exists. I know it's unrealistic to expect a bunch of fixes, but Ubi even applied the shitty driving model to the RC car. WTF. Also, there's 29 (!) new driving challenges. Yes, I want to spend more time with the least enjoyable part of the game. Also, I don't like Tobias. Why the DLC focuses on him, I have no idea. In addition, from what I can tell, there's no new areas with the exception of T-Bone's hideout and a few interiors. I know an entire new district was unrealistic to expect, but I was expecting more after the amount of content Freedom Cry added.

Basically, if you wanted more Watch Dogs, Bad Blood will help tide you over until the sequel. Despite my bitching, I really enjoyed the core game (minus the driving) so I'm enjoying BB. Shooting and stealth still work great. I do want a new villain besides the omnipresent Fixers and Blume.

It came out for season pass owners.
Another week for public.

Good god did season pass owners get jobbed. Basically the only advantage of buying the season pass back in May is that in September they get to play the only meaningful DLC one week early.

And season pass owners are going to pay more money than everyone else. Season pass is what, $20? I'm going to spend less than $20 (I hope) next week to buy Bad Blood, and I will still get as much meaningful content as the person who paid for the pass on day one.

Yeah at least they were upfront about what the season pass was. Bullshit dlc that could've been pre-order bonuses and the only "real" dlc.

I bought it because I got hyped with the game. But now I have the same thought as SJRB:

Yup, I shouldn't have done that.

First [and last] time I'll ever get suckered into one of those.

So this is the ONLY DLC they're releasing on the Season Pass?!

I was a bit careful with my wording for this reason. In my opinion, Bad Blood is the only "meaningful" DLC being released with the season pass. It's the only major single player campaign, and it's the only piece of content with achievements/trophies.

The other season pass content was trivial (as far as I'm concerned) pre-order bonuses. Small missions released shortly after the release of the game.

And Conspiracy, which I personally had fun with.
