Aldercapt is this guy:

We don't know the name of the guy leading the army.

Is it officially confirmed or its just speculation?
Becuase honestly this one looks much more like an emperor

The guy leading the army could be King Aegis.

Wasn't that just a mistranslation of Regis (Noctis father)?

Maybe not the best place to put this comment, but since both FF15 and KHs are Nomuras babies, it would be cool to see a reference to the other in one of them.

For instance, seeing or fighting against Noctis in KH3.

Eh. Aren't those Niflheim soldiers behind him?

Yeah, i mean leading your soldiers while wearing yourself an armor? That's very emperor-ish.
Sporting a white robe with a hood, giving sneaky orders like "kill this and find that" seems something more like secret services/organization.

I was just going off the wiki, don't know if it's been confirmed. It looks likely going by this thread.

Mmh, then i'll stay by my speculation until proven otherwise, just to see where it goes lol.

Well they've been described as mafia-like families. And wouldn't he be up front at the signing of the peace treaty if he was the emperor and not the other guy? (I'm assuming this is the cgi bit in the trailers where they face off)

I'm pretty sure the guy in the armour is an army leader.

Well, whatever.

After all the big bad will be "Guy in Hood" amirite?

I am really looking forward to the demo to see if the battle system changes are for the better. We won't know until we get our hands on it to truly say if it's for the worse or better.

But it's clear that almost everything else from Nomura's vision of the game has, for the most part, been retained. The large world, the road trip vibe when not in cities, characters and story (for the most part). I just hope that we still have the Shakespearian-esque (read:: Hamlet) inspirations still there.
