I gotta say, the censoring legit pissed me off. I've seen much worse violence/gore in the Berserk movies. Is this censoring a new thing or have I just not been watching other anime where this happens?

Anyway, aside from that BS, I'm really liking this show. Much better than I expected it to be. And I don't see any of these people surviving 40 days on mars. These roaches seem far too strong and intelligent now.

In the span of 200 episodes, some background characters are bound to be turned to when you want to flesh things out. I never paid much mind to Bisca, but her backstory worked for me. Erza is scary when angry, as always. I think "Moulin Rogue" as an alias is kind of odd, but thankfully it's just an alias. Fairy Tail doesn't have a case of Tomino Names, at least not to the extent of Tomino himself.

....and it looks like we're about to hit another anime-original arc. This one revolves around the Spirits, so I'm actually kinda interested in it. As long as the content fits with the tone of the universe, okay.

Significant plot development and back story? In an episode of Sailor Moon? I think I may need to go ly down.

Also if the Moon Queen had the power to seal away the evil why did she wait till after her Kingdom had been destroyed to do this?

Also what killed Kunzite? His own weapon hit his shoulder... it didn't even really hit that either it really just hit his cape.......

I digress this was one of the better episodes of the season

Despite a few animation problems here and there, this was actually a really cool episode. The fight was cool and what transpired was pretty great. Domon without "all his hate and anger" (angst) is a much better character. We will see if he regresses back into dick Domon in the next episode (as it would seem this is his character loop.... Learn important life lesson, then forget the development by the next episode). I hope Domon sticks to this. No more berating Rain for the 12,000 time. No more "Grrrrrr all my hate and anger". No more "let's just rush into a fight with no strategy and see how that works".

Stick to that and you will keep me around G Gundam. Unfortunate it took you 23 episodes to get good, but whatever you need to do to keep going in this general direction and you'll see me complaining a lot less.

Nozaki and Mikorin playing the dating sim was hysterical. Nozaki being inspired to write a yaoi manga about the protagonist's friend by it was the kicker.

samumenco was some really stupid and crazy show. in a good way, most of the times.
also the cop guy actually had some decent drama going on, it was pretty sad when they revealed it. ;-(

I enjoyed the episode much more than the first two, mainly because there was some nice action. I'm still not a fan of the G-Self's design, but that blue mobile suit, Montero, looked pretty nice. Anyway, can't wait for the next episode. Looks like we'll see how life on the "enemy" side is going.

And what was Bellri doing at the end? Taking a dump next to all those chicks?

I finally scanned through an episode of it and just what? The sounds they make are rediculous.

The sounds the roaches make? Yeah they are weird. Combine that with their faces and it's hard for me to take them serious as villains. They look hilarious.

The monsters inc setup is easier to swallow than the kissy magic of the first episode. Pretty engaging watch, and the mascots are a fun lot.

Earth > Fire > Water > Air

The new hit VRMMO comes out, but when the 10,000 lucky gamers sign in, they find themselves unable to log out. They are then teleported to the central area and told they must beat the game in order to escape and that if they die in the game they'll die in real life. At the same time the whole game is made hostile no safe areas exist and all enemies have been replaced with humanoid cockroaches, the only power that is strong enough to fight them is special rare medicine that transforms you into a gary stu for a short amount of time.

Then you would have your classes of tank(a hardy insect like a beetle), assassin(think black widows), fighter(your army ant)and mage(possibly something with poison/acid projectiles).

From the New World is really strengthening its grip on me. I've got my complaints with the series but I'm glad to have it be so compelling.

That's good to hear. FTNW definitely has some pacing and production issues, but it really is a great show when it all comes together.

It has some pretty great
and fucked up
episodes towards the end. But that's not to say there are some story problems and some questions left unanswered.

That's the second half of the series for you. It has its warts, but there's a really gripping run of episodes there, and the series has a pretty compelling vision which it executes on up through the final scene of the last episode.

Laughed my ass off at Bonta kun taking his feet off just to have another pair of feet underneath. I guess they will tell us why that kid is the "chosen" one. Maybe hes super smart or something.

Mascot stuff is great.

Actually I felt the end was a little anticlimactic. It was an okay end but not the one I thought it would have. Left a sour taste in my mouth. Episodes 17-24 though are some of the best episodes in the show. There is no denying that.
Some great plot twists.

But the early episodes could've been done a lot better and the ending felt slightly rushed.

Am I the only person who gets annoyed by shortened romaji titles when the full title for the anime is actually in English.

There's just something about it that rubs the language nazi in me the wrong way.

This episode started pretty slow, though Kanye Kanie is pretty fun in his narcissism, but it got going after a while. I'll keep watching to see where it goes.

It might not have been what you thought it would have, but it was basically the ending the series was heading towards for awhile, and had to execute on.
Saki putting Squealer out of his misery was one of the most powerful moments I can remember from any television series in recent years.

Earth -
not only can you earth bend but with training and proper circumstances you can also metal bend and lava bend. Like how cool is that?
Fire -
Once again you can use fire bending to fly around and with enough training can Lightning bend too. Again another element that gives you the ability to do more than just bend one specific thing.
Water -
You can use water and transform it into ice. You can do some kick ass stuff with water and ice duo!
Air -
All you get is air. No added bonus. Unless you have a wing suit. Then I guess you can glide.
