Plot Synopsis:

Six months ago, the five-member literature club all awakened superpowers. Unfortunately this has not led to them having anything else interesting happen in their lives, like epic battles or saving the universe. They go about their ordinary lives, just happening to have superpowers, waiting for the call to battle to finally happen - assuming it ever comes at all.

Characters:

Jurai Ando-
The main protagonist, who has a notable case of 'chunni', which he maintains even after getting actual superpowers. His power is "Dark and Dark".

Tomoyo Kanzaki-
A red-haired girl who is constantly bemused by Jurai's antics. Her power is "Closed Clock".

Sayumi Takanashi-
The literature club's president. Her power is "Root of Origin".

Chifuyu Himeki-
A fourth year elemetary school student who is the advisor's niece. Her power is "World Create".

Hatoko Kushikawa-
A polite airheaded girl who often takes Jurai's chunibyo antics seriously. Her power is "Over Element".

Why Should I Watch?

We get to see what Trigger has been up to since their masterpiece, Kill La Kill. There's already Yoshinari cuts in the OP so you can look forward to some solid action down the road. Otsuka has also had a hand in a number of your favorite Gainax and Trigger shows. Also who knows, we might get lucky and have Platinum make a game for the series!

Inou Battle-2

This was a much better episode than the opener. I did think the first half wasn't that interesting but the confession scene and forwards was really good. I would prefer the show try to tell more natural stories in the context of their superpowers instead of Chuuni dialogue and jokes.

The show would be much better if Andou shut the fuck up more often and instead of being a chuuni dialogue spitting machine, he at least try to act like a normal human being.

Inou Battle-4

This was a ridiculously stupid episode and not in a positive way. Hey guys, did you ever want an entire episode based around cnet? Well congratulations, pedophile jokes are now on the table. Andou's speech wasn't funny, that's exactly the type of shit that gets you in jail or expelled. The entire episode just felt like a bunch of cnet jokes. Chifuyu was adorably rapey.

The drama in this felt really annoying especially the part on the stairs. The side characters really do have a legitimate point about loli hanging out with teenagers and the way that this is resolved in the episode felt idiotic.

The visuals looked pretty weird this episode. There were parts that were really fluid but most of the episode felt like it was off-model. There were some definitely some scenes where they were showing that classic Inferno Cop budget.

I did like the Risky Business reference though.
