Some infos from the video (mainly stuffs that we already knew):
- battle system is called ACB (stands for Active Cross Battle) : 3 buttons - 1 for attack, 1 for defend, and 1 for link action (characters' interactions)
He said that the battle system was made to be easy, instinctive but at the same time still allows for complex actions
More to be said in the future
- monsters at night are stronger than their counterparts at day. They wanted to make night dangerous
- no imp magic in (someone asked it because of the frog appearance in the previous tech demo ^^) but other troublesome debuffs affecting our team are present
- summons are in, but he won't say more :'-(
- noticed the water spot in the video? You'll be able to fish there
- demo will be wider than what they showed, and will contain cutscenes

It could be because the Luminous team has been absorbed to the FFXV team and FFXV is at its most busiest time of development (the finish line is starting to be in the horizon, they are developing masses of content).

It would probably delay KH3 significantly.

Luminous team is working in conjunction with XV team and probably don't have time to teach a completely different team in osaka how to implement the engine.

Luminous is far from a failure if it can make something this huge and beautiful but KH3 can't wait for FFXV to wrap up.

FYI, before the new gameplay starts, this message is shown:

Here's a rough translation:
The video we are about to show you has been made in order to give you an idea about the size of the map.

The ennemies and the events are not implemented in the map.

Many exciting elements will be included in this area in the final version of the game.
Glad to see that they intend to add some exciting elements in the field area. Hoping that destructible environment is still in, plus different, fun minigames and secrets.

These are the most realistic cloudcovers I've ever seen in a video game

LOOK at how the lighting changes because the camera pans up and gets more light (like an eye)

Maybe controversial, but just my opinion nonetheless.

I think this game rivals and will probably surpass Witcher 3 in the graphical department (probably won't surpass the pc version), but on consoles? I think this one looks a lot better.

First time that I want to hear the director say: "You see that mountain? You can go there."

So far it's safe to assume this is the best looking game IMO. Let's see that Uncharted 4 at the end of the year.

It's not like the other games were "rocket surgery" anyway, so we will have to see that. At best, FFX was the most complex.

Witcher 3 was supposed to be a 2014 title aswell. >.>

yeah it will surpass it on consoles most likely.

The ultrasettings for TW3 will look better in some aspects ,but good luck coughing up 2000$ to play that.

Stunning! I want to live in that world. One question though, somebody mentioned at the possibility of this game showing up at a PlayStation conference? When will that be?

The animations are by far the most impressive part, if the game is actually like this - consider me blown away.

We don't know how well it will perform (and we're not even thinking about the obligatory XBO performance polemic) but i'm pretty sure it will be superior to anything in term of design and artist works.

When i see the the level of production of those monsters, their animation, model (and don't forget the behemoth!) i really hope the game is generous. FFXIII felt so cheap with those monsters reused 20 times everywhere.

A FF should be a never ending festival of curiosity and incredible bestiary. Remember some of the designs in FFX ? The Atma weapon, the first boss in the water.. If we see this kind of thing with this level of detail, we'll die.

It's great, I loved it when games actually makes night a clear, drastic difference from day, as it should be. Reminds me of Dragon's Dogma here.
Dunno, the narrow field of vision makes me incredibly dizzy. But it might just be the camera angle he was using?

I dunno about the PlayStation Experience thing, but they have confirmed they will be showing something new at Jump Festa in mid/late December. Maybe we'll get an English trailer at the PS event, that'd be cool.

Finally the Forrest Gump video game I always dreamed !

Seriously, this game is so beautiful and huge ! Xenoblade Wii U is already splendid for me but Final Fantasy XV is on completely another level, no wonder why this game is takin' so many years to be done.

Can't wait to explore that magnificient world...

Well, yeah..I'm not a pc gamer, mainly because I obsess over every little setting I can change and wouldn't settle for anything less than max settings, but that would put a massive crater in my wallet. So far I'm more than pleased with what the ps4 has been able to achieve so far, and these are 1st wave titles. In a year or two we will start seeing shit we wouldn't believe possible on these consoles. This game looks phenomenal, but then again SE never failed my on the tech aspects of FF. They're always gorgeous, and proof that japanese developers are still ahead of the curve, if given enough time and funding.

Bloodbourne, while not on the same level as FF XV, is looking pretty good too. And Capcom is like SE sister (gets a lot of shit for many reasons, but graphics will never be one of them. Even RE6 with all the complaints had some pretty cool looking effects and levels. Some jankiness but overall not a bad looking game by any means).

I think Nomura reconfirmed summons are supposed to be a huge deal for FFXV in 2013, fighting them are supposed to be some of the epicest key moments in the game (and once beaten, you can supposedly use them).

He actually mentionned them just after talking about monsters, so I'd say fighting them is very likely :)

The PS Experience trailer showed that Hashimoto will be there, and he's the brand director for FF.
