Are any of us playing this early with EA Access? I'm pondering whether this will be worth getting the sub, with the added bonus of getting free Battlefield and cheaper DLC.. ?

IMO, it's gonna depend on your race/class. The first male VA, for example, sounds a little too deep for me to imagine as an elf.

Everyone's sounded good otherwise, though.

I didn't even know Vega shares the same VA with Iron Bull.

Oh man, I could hear it immediately, lol. Never took Vega, but I might give Bull a chance, depending on how my party stacks up.

Question. Maybe I made this up, but back when info was coming out for this game I thought I read your character actually talks this time, not just the typical yelling, grunting and a sentence here and there, but they speak the full dialogue in cutscenes and talking to people?

I will start playing on the 16th. Spend 1/2 hr in the character creator and see if I can make myself. Play until I have to fall asleep.

The 17th I have to play hockey, so by the time I get back the game will be live and I took the 18th off just to play.

and you have two styles of voices for each sex.

Sorry. I only played DA2 once, and that was back when it first came out. I forgot your character talked in everything.

I know that part, so I guess I'll go the British route. I tend to love that accent.

Quick question: is the tactics system basically the same as it was in DAO and DA2? I've been known to get real deep into that stuff, programming super specific behavior.

If anyone knows of a video where they've shown it off I'd like to see it. I've tried to stay away from most of the media.

I've changed my mind every week, but I think I'm going with Qunari mage. Having a Qunari who's people would enslave if they got the chance, having power and running things just seems awesome. I hope they have some specific dialogue or quest if you go with Qunari mage. Now I just need to figure out if I want to be a female or male.

I can answer this because I've also played warrior in the preview demo :) I personally like it, although I think mage might be more interesting. I switch way too much with Solas. I love playing as Solas. Some really cool spells. That said, I've unlocked a couple new warrior spells which I really love as well. One of them is some sort of charge attack I use way too much as a means to traverse through the world :p

Just switched to unlimited Internet bandwidth, so now I don't need to stress over how big this, PES and FC4 will be.

We'll save money, too. :)

Having a long game can be a bad thing if it doesn't keep you engaged, would you guys say DAI achieves that over long periods of time?

Origin don't sell season pass or something else ...no dlc announced so far ?
i'm pretty hyped by the thread but i'll wait for complete edition if season pass.

I see a lot of people are going to play as mages. I have finally decided to play as a Reaver. I was thinking about three different class+specs but the Reaver sounds fun. Cassandra tanking, Vivienne does the damage dealing or supporting and Varric does the sniping.

I will still wait for the reviews before buying it but all those positive impressions from you and others sound very good so far.

Oh and yes i do like RPG's.

I'm going rogue this time around. Played a warrior in Origins, Mage in DA2. What kind of rogue I'm not too sure yet.
