is the needlepoint (summer and winter) background broken for anyone else?

someone try the create mode and tell me. i mean you can move the background around to show but you have basically an invisible ground to walk on.

also when you load some background it's dark and you have to turn the lighting down and then back up just so it goes back to normal?

Oh, that's good. I'm fine for now though I kinda liked having all my pics on the PS4 (can I copy them back?) and I'm not sure how long I'll last before having another batch of photos to copy and delete

Download all the juicy bug fixes (thanks for the beta test US!)
Download LBP1/LBP2 content
Beat the Poppit Puzzles
Download all my previous DLC and beat that (If they're up)
Take my time getting everything in singleplayer
Hit CREATE!

Since all of my current friends have abandoned me for the PS4, I need some PS3 sackfolk for x2, x3, and x4 stuff.

I just had to do some fancy finger work for the Manglewood x2 sidequest.

My PSN is the same as my GAF name.

They're pretty clever too. Each one introduces something which is then used for gameplay mechanics later. It's a great way to make the knowledge stick.

They're by Comphermc, who went on to work for Tarsier. I don't know what he does now because I rarely see him on LBPCentral.

Donkey show, please flick the ear of whoever designed the Coming to Dinner level.

Yes, it's creative and shit, but there is way too much inconsistency with the bots to require such precision for getting them all through. The camera has even stopped tracking a group after the second forced slide split, even though they're still alive.

Incredibly frustrating.

idk. i had no trouble. i accidentally let one die but it's easily doable to get all of them to the end.

when you get the chance just push everyone to one side.

I wonder if it's just my HDD or an issue with LBP3 Digital. it's not streaming the content correctly. like right now i'm in the hub and it doesn't load up the background or hub.

Haha I've done it twice and both times only 1 made it to the end

But I didn't experience the camera problem that Ryanardo did

Man, I wish the game camera was more flexible. With 16 layers doesnt it make absolute sense to be able to put the camera behind the player for some crash style chases, or be able to flip the level like FEZ? With so many layers theres so much room you for you to be able to do this, but the game camera isnt as flexible as it needs to be for it.

Amazing story levels so far anyways, I heard Stevebigguns helped with them?

It was that section but they don't have to be separated.

My problem was that 9 times out of 10 when they dropped down, each group was so spread out that they could barely fit on the platforms, making any jumping impossible.

Has anyone else noticed severe screen tearing and frame drops? I'm doing the hamburger run at the moment, which requires Sackboy being split into about 10 separate sackpeople, and the performance is pretty atrocious on PS4.

I can't find any add on or download on my system but on the store it says something about some #4theplayers costumes.

Other than these tiny issues and the frequent loading, I'm loving everything.

Edit: Those multiple loads mid-cutscene during the intro sequence were supposed to happen, right??

Go to the Store and check if this are marked as Free, then purchase them:
-Dragon Age Inquisition (the one with the 4 characters only)
-Infamous Second Son Delsin
-The Last of Us Ellie
-Killzone Helghast
-Uncharted Nathan
Nothing will download after the purchase. You just go to the game and change costumes.

Not every DLC works at the moment, so don't panic!

EDIT:
It also seems there are issues with the DLC in general, since even LBP Vita is not recognizing costumes I have. Hopefully this will be solved soon.

Bugger.

Just realised that my old US PSN account is the one that played and completed LBP 1&2 on PS3. I switched to my UK PSN when the vita came out. So I have no save games or activity tied to my UK PSN account.

Do I have any way of bringing that content across without getting my PS3 out of the attic and replaying both games story modes?

I'm interesting in looking further into the Poppit glitch. The reason this is happening is the game is accessing your screenshots (regardless of what they're from) and any more than ten causes the problem. The fix is to delete them. But what does this 'perhaps' suggest? If it's accessing that section of the PS4, does it mean at some point we'll be able to take screenshots of any game and then import them into LBP3? Imagine taking a side on view of a car in Driveclub and then placing it on material in your racing game.

Guess not, since all this game does is recognize that you played the first, and check for the Pins you got for clearing stages in LBP2 (which you can see on LBP.ME).

I think you can already (?). I had 2 pictures of the Photo Mode in Driveclub and this let me use them as stickers. Heck, like in previous games you can also take pictures with the camera.

You can already do that as far as I know. If you go into the stickers/decorations part of the popit theres an option to access your capture gallery and you can use screenshots

No wonder I have no scores to compare to. At least we can still cross-visit other creations though.

it's 500MB. you probably already maxed out. try deleting stuff off of there.

You probably don't have enough cloud space, that's the error I got.

Not sure what happened to Spoiler's save. My issue was that I was trying to fix the popit freeze, so I deleted the game and booted it back up without the patch. But then I got an error saying the game and my save file were from mismatched versions and then it got corrupted and I couldn't recover it. So kind of my own fault there.

I was playing the newest levels randomly in the community levels, and the game crashed. When I loaded it up, the fucker said to either retry or delete. One of those did work, and one of those didn't.

Shit shit shit. I almost want to return this damn game but that's overreacting.

This really hurts because you can't upload the profile to the cloud since it's so large (500 MB).

I think what I'm going to do is do a manual backup of my profile and adventure save after each time I play. Just in case

Can you back up to a usb stick? Can you not upload your save to the cloud under ANY circumstances, even if you have enough space?

This actually happened to me once in lbp1 (well not adventure progress, but all my data (any and all creations) were deleted. I actually just didn't care and started from scratch. I tend to make stuff better the second time through anyway.
