I thought that was Lily Bergamo art until I scrolled further down and read what was underneath. :(

Wouldn't it be great if Studio Japan announced at this event that they've 'inherited' Lily Bergamo and will be continuing development on it themselves. Yeah that would be great.
It'd be great if that happened.

That would be a improvement because I don't trust Suda 51 to make a good game.

Let It Die

People are sleeping on the other part of the event besides game announcements, the panels. Those are bound to be a treat for those of us going, and if recorded, for those watching at home.
What are the panels you guys think should be made a priority of attending to, or you're more excited to see at home if available?

List of Panels Announced.

I definitely want to attend the ''Modeling Nathan Drake: Bringing an Iconic Character to PS4'' , ''Story Time'' with Shu and I'm intrigued by ''The Art of Creating Surprise & Discovery in Games''.

Yes, or at the very least readjusted to work on PS4.

My issue is just how big of a drift it means in thematic terms.

In the original game you would literally use your fingers to pop into the world and help Iota and Atoi. You would use it to unfurl a bridge with your finger touching the screen, for example. And then your face was in the sun. And all of this tied in to an amazingly touching story that involved you, the player.

But look at the disconnect that will now occur, how what seems like a minor change can have catastrophic impact in terms of the thematic feel of the title:

From the comfort of your couch, you can swipe the touch pad to unleash great gusts of wind, and send them howling into the world to unfold rippling bridges or send enemies tumbling from cliffs!

Now you're now helping directly in the world, you're unleashing wind so the wind can help the world. And I don't know how it actually ends up working with the story the original game had, which was seriously one of the most effective and beautifully elegant odes to gamers and gaming interaction ever seen in the world of videogames, with what we have now.

Given how good Tearaway was, I am definitely withholding judgment. But I don't see how Tearaway Unfolded is anything but a completely different experience altogether given how fundamental the changes have to be, like the above.

Yeah, I agree. But it seems as though they are taking careful consideration to the perspective change, so I'm hoping that the experience will just be different, not necessarily worse.

I know we shouldn't expect to many new announcements, but I do think it would be a great time to show stuff that got announced but never shown.

Rime gameplay?
Shadow of the beast?
Ratchet?
Etc.

When are the new game announcements expected to come? There's no dedicated event.

Actually, this might be a good thing. That bombshell of a Final Fantasy XV trailer just catapulted everyone's hype and gave us a 115-page thread. I'd like to see sudden announcements.

yup me too, like i said in that post. It's just one of the reasons I wouldn't say if you played Tearaway Vita then this game has no value. Because as we can see, the Vita game will forever be its own unique product. There's no way for the PS4 to replicate what it did as effectively or with the same precise thematic undertones. With 60% new content and all the subtle and major shifts in interaction, it might as well be a new game. I don't know if the changes will be good or make the game still worth owning, but I do know it won't be the same experience whatsoever.

Predictions:

-Lots and lots of "history of Playstation" compilation footage

-Persona 5 footage or info which would coincide with a January Famitsu feature in Japan

-Bloodborne beta announcement and new trailer

-Uncharted 4 footage

-New The Order 1886 footage

- New No Man's Sky footage + date

- New Rime footage + date

- Deep Down release date

-Teraway PS4 port footage

-Guerilla teases/announces its new game

- Exclusive Capcom project directed by Ono announced, will probably be disappointing

Playable Until Dawn and Tearaway Unfolded and a Uncharted 4 trailer is a start. :)

What I want to see is The Witness, Rime, Wild, Everybody's Gone to the Rapture and No Man's Sky. Though not my expectations.

That was just a CG trailer for a F2P game. I got hype at first but after hearing about all that F2P business I got pretty apathetic.

I never heard anything about Lily Bergamo being f2p. Seemed to be a straightforward single player game based on what info was given. Are you sure you're not getting confused with Let it Die?
