Just checked the 3DS eShop and it's 50% off from now through December 2nd here in North America, not sure about Europe.

Go check it out if you haven't already!

Buy this.

Also, the Ace Attorney collection will be releasing for 3DS next month, so it's timely.

It's discounted on iOS as well ($9.99 for the main story cases), as are some of Capcom's other games. Some sort of Thanksgiving sale I believe.

Got it awhile back. Played it and finished it. It was alright. The final case was absolute ass though in my opinion. I hated the twist.

Buy the DLC case.

Yep, this too. Anyone who gets this game absolutely must play the DLC case, especially if they've played the first AA trilogy.

Worth jumping in if you've only played the first Ace Attorney?

Sure. You'll miss out on a lot of references, but there aren't any major story beats you'll be missing.

You should still play the other games in the series, though; they're all great.

Surely this is cheap enough for even the most vocal "no retail no buy"
crybaby
person to bite. Great game, needs more sales.

No account fix, no digital buy. I love AA, but nope. I have plenty of games to keep me busy from my sadness of missing this game.

Very story heavy series, you'll miss tons of references and stuff if you haven't played the other main AA games (particularly Apollo Justice). But you could get it cheap now and sit on it until the trilogy next month...Mwa ha ha

Fix? There's nothing wrong with it. I've been all digital since NSMB2 and I wouldn't have it any other way.

Besides it's $15. On the off chance that you lose your system and Nintendo refuses to transfer your licenses to a replacement (they won't), you can eat fifteen bucks.

But whatever, think I'll play through it again this weekend myself.

Capcom had their chance to bring that over and they didn't. The fans did a great job translating it though, so I'd recommend playing the fan translation if you haven't already

People please buy this so maybe Capcom will give us the Great Ace Attorney

That ship has sailed boo, if anything we should be worried about Feudal Ace Attorney <_<;

Although I think it will be Ace Attorney: London Beginnings or something lol ;c

I loved Dual Destinies, the only case that sucks is the 2nd one.

And the DLC case is sooo good.
The second case kinda sucks, but I love it cus it feels like it could've come from Apollo Justice 2. Actually, the whole game does an excellent job of balancing its lead characters and that's one of it's key strengths IMO.

But yeah, everyone should get this. It's not the best Ace Attorney but even the worst Ace Attorney is better than most other things in the genre and this is a damn fine game.

I think the iOS version is way better, and has been this price for some time now.

But iOS isn't a real gaming platform despite what Japan seems to be doing with it. Don't kill me, haha.
Seriously, eShop version so we can keep getting this series, please? :(

Heck yeah. Everyone who has played the previous AA games and not this one, now's your chance. Dual Destinies is my second favorite game in the series, so getting it for $15 is one hell of a deal.

Trainwreck of a game. Kills the momentum coming out of AJ (which was not an azong game but damn if apollo didnt deserve better than this) in an attempt to please people who couldnt handle Phoenix not being the Protaginst. It tries to give everyone something but with the majority of cases being bad, fan service thrown in that feels out of place and awkward and a fairly bad overall plot this game KILLED any excitment i had for a new mainline AA game

With the way the translation goes in this series, it'll probably be like Ace Attorney: Wild West lol

Well, I won't tell you how to feel but that's a pretty shallow opinion to have. There are a lot of quality titles that don't rely on free-to-play gimmicks and microtransactions.

DLC case is worth full price and people should certainly buy the full game at 14.99. That said, this is one of the weaker games in the series from my perspective. I'd only put Edgeworth 1 below it. Too easy and predictable in most cases.

If you enjoy the series strictly for looking at item descriptions, finding contradictions, figuring out inconsistencies, knowing what to present at the right time, etc., then you should probably skip this one. It's pretty streamlined as far as that stuff goes.

If, however, you also at least somewhat enjoy the series because of the revelation of the mysteries behind the cases, because of the fun characters and dialogue, and so on, then you should probably pick it up, because it's still pretty dang good in that regard.

Having bought and played the previous four Ace Attorney games, I'm on the fence about getting this game especially after reading the plot spoilers. It sounds like the game is disappointing after coming from Apollo Justice which to its own merit had damn good intriguing plot and left some potential of a new story arc with the said titular character.

Also, the more linear investigation phase is worrisome. That said, for what it's worth, I enjoyed the visual 3D makeover of the characters as they're way more expressive and alive from what I played of it. If anything, I'm much more intrigued by the Great Ace Attorney series as it'll hopefully return to its roots.

Loved this game, only case that sucks is the second one, but other than that is a lot of fun, the characters are likable and the story is decent enough.

Just don't expect another Trials and Tribulations and you'll be fine.

Also buy the DLC and play it just after case 3, its the best case in the game.
