Went to the other best buy just now. Just about 50 of each console of the stuff they have been selling. But they have a lot of people stocking and setting stuff up so maybe they just haven't put it out yet. I wouldn't imagine that they have zero gtagta bundles when the other one has 250.
I think Black Friday will be huge for PS4. For Xbox One deals are not so great because of recent price drop.
Basically MS attracted consumers sooner with $349 price and PS4 will sell more on BF. Will be enough to win november? I don't know, but it's possible.
Portable combined sales are ~171,7k.
3DS is estimated at 137k, nobody said it's wrong so I suppose is close to reality. PSP and DS are dead, this leaves Vita with little less than 35k.

TRU and Meijer both got the LBP bundle. I hadn't seen it advertised anywhere else until Walmart suddenly had it as a Cyber Monday deal with a spare controller and your choice of a third game for $450.

The amount of consoles sold Black Friday week will make the totals leading up to it pitiful by comparison. He must be betting on the GTA5 bundle to do work.
Negative.
PS4 was ahead by a good margin (even taking top spot for 1 day) for GTA V week. The current monthly (Nov) on Amazon hasn't been updated in two weeks (normally it's updated daily at the very least). I checked and it looks like it's the same for books and audio cd's, so it's not limited to the videogame section.

I wonder if we'll get Black Friday PR from anyone, we did from all 3 companies in 2012 but none in 2013...
We've gotten Smash PR and XB1 price drop PRs so far. I expect we'll get something from Nintendo and maybe something from Microsoft/Sony. Remember that Sony PR where they used the weird date ranges of BF week to end of December and like threw in Canada, too, or something? Oh, man, those were the days. :lol

I think they will announce something humble and simple like thanks to gamers for choosing us...
Not much else to do, like the Raiders winning their first game in 16, they celebrated like it was superbowl and it was that much weight.
That's the weight ms feels, if they win its a celebration for the ages, but on Monday it's back to work because you are still 1-10 and you are already looking to next season for positives, building on the small victories...

My local best buy seems to have plenty of destiny bundles ready to go for PS4. No pallets sitting on the floor, so I guess the doorbusters are in the back. They do have a lot of shelf space in the back where they've stacked probably over 200 combined Wii U, PS4 and XB1 of various configurations, though.
On a side note, they've had a family out in front since at least Sunday with their own awning, PS4 with TV, plus other things.

It's a shame all the BF talk doesn't have a post of its own, would love to see/hear more about stock allocations and how things are going for BF... I am finding it fascinating to see who has worked this out right.

The "scam" was a marketplace vendor SKU sale, quickly removed by Amazon who promptly notified retailers of the scam so that people would not be able to price match (beside the first few dishonest scammers who got wind of it).
Chance of this being included in the sales rankings? 0.000001% imo.
Otoh, GTA V was releasing the day it went #1, and even the Destiny bundle shot up for some time around that day.
So ... yeah.

I have anecdotal evidence of people trying to "buy" the console at scam prices but amazon cancelling the orders.
Just check slickdeals. That would explain the jump in rank. GTA gave the console a boost, but if you look on amazons monthly chart, even now its only in 14th place.
And its definitely been updated because just dance has rocketed into the top 20.
Are they selling the destiny bundle for $400 like the other two bundles?

Amazon's rankings do not include marketplace transactions unless they are fulfilled by Amazon. None of the scam listing were. They had zero effect on the best selling list.

Man the PS4 has SANK on the hourly charts. I've never seen it so consistently low. I hope this is because people are waiting for Black Friday, otherwise they need to drop that price fast.

Well if that is the case, the GTA effect, where the console shot up to 1# ranking, had no effect on the monthly chart either. I don't find that at all likely.
I thought I read the monthly chart has not been updated in two weeks.

Pokemon Alpha Sapphire came out on November 21st, and it's at #5 in the Monthly Charts.
And, the charts are said to be "updated daily."
Pretty sure the PS4 was #16 on the monthly chart a couple of weeks ago. It's #14 now.

It's sales were going to slow down, Sony is advertising the GTA bundle on TV now, the cat is out of the bag now.... Sales will pick up in a day...
