First two world premieres; Metal Gear Online and No Man's Sky. 16 more or so to go.....

16 more? They said it was 12. Now its 18? Kind of tells me "World premieres" is being used very liberally. Especially since No Man's Sky is one of them.

So what defines a premiere? Is it just the first time a specific trailer is shown? Kind of weak.

I found out I'll be out when the show's on, would love to be there for the birth Geoff, wish you all the best.

Geoff Keighly's definition of world premiere = new trailers for games that have already been revealed

Haven't you guys learned your lesson by now?

No Man's Sky ? World Premiere ? of what ?

"We heard people having concerns about a procedurally generated universe and exploring and all that crap and how it will all be empty and boring and so instead we are happy to reveal the new and improved No Man's Sky. It's an open world 3rd person action adventure game where you kill enemies and climb towers! You guys love that shit right?"

Why are strippers at the U.N. bad when they're great at strip clubs???
Scott Moffit did say Nintendo had a few surprises in store for this holiday season....

Wonder if we will see something from them

World premiere =/= new game

Do we have any idea of what the format of the show will be like?

Yeah this. It's done this way in other mediums as well.

Gametrailers* (I guess not technically gametrailers here?) has been using "World Premiere" to mean "new trailer" for a long long time.

Now, sometimes those new trailers are of a new game, but who knows. 2 of them? 1 of them?
