$10 says the minimum Intel CPU beats the recommended AMD CPU in performance tests.

Anyways, GTX670 minimum is crazy. Don't believe it, sorry. These requirements lately haven't been accurate at all when it comes to GPU requirements.

The 16GB RAM thing is a new one, though. Interested in seeing how that pans out.

Pretty steep requirements. I can only assume the game will not look very good with only 2gb of VRAM.
I wonder how a 4gb 670 would fare, I know Unity is playable at high settings (ultra textures) with 4gb.

I hope these are accurate because that would mean we'd be in for a graphical treat. Alas it's much more likely that they will prove to be bogus as with most other games this generation.

A 750 ti + i3 is probably going to run it has well as the consoles, again, and invalidating the requirements. At least that's my guess.

This is a TWIMTBP title right? Why is the minimum Nvidia card so much faster than the minimum AMD card...?

The difference is non-trivial, too. The 670 is 20% faster than the 7870...

Is this supposed to run on a console?

Are they just throwing around high specs just to be safe? I mean, might as well make the best hardware available today the recommended system requirements.

A 780 huh, game better look fucking bananas.

and 16 gig of ram? wtf, is that if you want 3 instances of photoshop open in the background?

I just got a GTX 970 and already I don't meet the recommended specs for a new game. That, and I only have 8GB and a "lowly" 2500k @ 4GHz.

"No game will use 16gb of ram" they said. "You'll never need more than 8" they said. Now look who's laughing!

But seriously, holy shit.

Not anywhere near Ubisoft requirements, thank God .

And 16GB has to be a joke along with all the i7 and 4gb vram requirements we've had lately. Ubisoft games have had problems sharing load between cores and The Evil Within never came close to using 4GB of viral, so why would this equally unlikely scenario prove to be any different.

Wow, requirements for pc games are getting insane lately. What the hell.

The long last generation skewed a lot of people's expectations of PC hardware I think. Most games that were ported from 360/PS3 to PC ran amazing on decent priced hardware. Now that developers are bloating these games to hell thanks to the added RAM on consoles we are seeing PC requirements go up and up. It's going to be even worse next year.

Looks at min & recommended...

Is this game skipping Gen 8 consoles and going straight to Gen 9?

Seriously those Minimums are well beyond the capabilities of Gen 8 consoles.

You always need more than stric 1:1 console hardware to do as well.
It's not entirely impossible that a 670 can do better than any consoles (paired with the minimum CPU) but not the 2gb variant.

This is pretty much bullshit, but whatever.

PC's today have a lower operating system footprint and are using the same rendering techniques as their console counterparts. If the console versions are running at minimum PC Spec, the PC version will probably be extremely unoptimized in comparison.
