Oh cool, I was hoping Capcom would announce SF V this month for current gen consoles. An exclusive Street Fighter game has been teased for the last year, though I thought it would be a collection series reboot getting exclusivity and V would be multi plat.

There's three scenarios:
1) Sony paid extra to block an Xbox build
2) Sony funded a game that wouldn't have existed otherwise
3) Capcom just chose not to put this on the Xbox One at launch

i heard the news earlier today and i expected the positive reactions here. two userbase vs one, and most members here have a ps4. the game is coming to their platform so of course they're not going to get mad about it, i was just scanning the tomb raider thread earlier and checking post history of anyone who got upset and they posted here all excited.
I remember that tomb raider thread, but I don't believe many would have double standards like this!

So the characters still have that deformed style?
Im not a fan of Chun Lis hands being bigger than her head. Those proportions give off a masculine vibe.
The characters at least look a lot better than in SF4. I think thats mainly due to the nice textures though.

Please be early, early, early, pre-alpha or prototype and they haven't made up their minds yet, because this looks like shit, DOA3 on Xbox looks onpar with this..

What if they aren't releasing this on Xbox ONE because they are planning cross play PC-PS4? that'd be cool...
I mean, there might be other reasons why this is not coming to Xbox ONE, they could have signed with MS that they get DR3 but lose SF5, or like i said, SF5 might not be coming to ONE because they wanted to do cross play (i hope so), we'll find out soon enough

I really hope that this is a sequel to SF3, and not an "interquel" like SF4 was (SF4 took place between SF2 & SF3). bring back some of dat SF3 cast! and bring back some of the unused SF1 guys too while you're at it:

Overall the game doesn't look very impressive. I bet they could put this on PS360 with some effort. I don't care, though, looks fine to me

Hell, even the sounds are reused (from SF4).
The game will change a lot.
Oh man I would love that but it is pretty niche in the grand scheme of things but I really hope a new one is made sometime in the next few years.

This is a great steal for Sony but if Nintendo/MS really wanted SF game on their systems they could simple make a deal to get the Street Fighter Alpha 4 exclusive to that system, I wonder if that is what Capcom is hoping for..
Yeah but it doesn't foreclose the possibility of a later edition being multiplat. Didn't the update to SF4 come out fairly soon after the release of SF4?

I wonder what the story is with this exclusivity? If Sony actually approached Capcom to make the game or payed them to cock block the Xbone version? One is good... the other is bad. Either way, some version of SF5 is definitely coming to Xbone.
