But. They got several titles a month Duckroll

This is what the first party lineup for 2015 looks like

Febuary: Kirby
March:Mario Party
April: Xenoblade
May: Splatoon
June:Mario Maker
July: Project Robot/Project Guard/Mario Vs DK
August: Starfox
September:Yoshi's Wooly World
October Devil's Third
November: Zelda

+SMT X Fe + Pokken +Fatal Frame 5+ whatever else they announce for 2016

Its not like they dont have any third party support either. Going by whats listed on Wikipedia and the release dates the WIi U should have a library of 450+ titles released on it by the end of 2015. couple that with the VC and the Wii library you have a lot to play on the machine. The sales wont improve much other than the steady small rise it currently has so it really doesnt make sense to cut the price, but increasing it... Ehh nintendo. Try and sell more outside Japan if you want to make more money. Exchange rate is hot right now.

Wii U retail releases in Japan

2012 - 15
2013 - 32
2014 - 29

every morning we listen radio while having breakfast, J-Wave Tokyo radio, I can say it's quite popular

this morning the topic for discussion was "which is your favourite Youkai?"

shinjirarenai... (I can't believe it) :D

I think DQXI will be on PS4(although not definitely exclusive) but I still don't think KH and FF release strategy has any bearing on it. Recent DQ releases have overwhelmingly been on 3DS still so it will be interesting to see what else they put on PS4. There is a DQ Monsters game on the way which could go PS4's way.

PS3DSP4?

Some interesting info from Dengeki Playstation 20th Anniversary interviews and early Famitsu stuff:

Square Enix: Currently preparing a new Saga title. Special info coming soon!

Koei: Currently progressing well in development for new things related to Kagerou: Dark Illusion (called Trapt in the West?)

Capcom (Sengoku Basara director): Lots of special things happening in 2015 for Sengoku Basara's 10th Anniversaray. Look forward to it!

Falcom: New game announcement coming soon

Atlus: Have a new title that has not been announced yet.

Spike-Chunsoft: Lots of titles to be announced next year and the year after

SCEJ (Gravity Daze Director): Working very hard on the title!

It also looks like MGSV will be Playstation exclusive in Japan. PS platforms getting all dem games.

So the new Saga game is for Playstation? I thought it would be a 3DS game, they have been teasing it for years, right?
Saga should be multiplatform based on the directors tweet:

河津秋敏@SaGa25kawazu
サガシリーズは最初がゲームボーイ、次にスーパーファミコン、
それからプレイステーション、プレイステーション2と、それぞれのハードの専用ソフトとして作られて来ました。
でも、時代は変わって、マルチに出すのが当たり前になりました。

The Saga series for started on the gameboy, then the Super Famicom, after that it went to PS1, PS2, all of which were exclusive at the time of release.

But times have changed, and the obvious thing to do now is release it multiplat.
So it's possible.

Kagerou is Deception in the West. Also, Spike Chunsoft's comment was by Kotaro Uchikoshi, the director of Nine Hours, Nine Persons, Nine Doors and Zero Escape: Virtue's Last Reward. Zero Escape 3 finally coming?

Persona 5, Final Fantasy XV, Metal Gear Solid V, Uncharted 4, AND Zero Escape 3 could happen in the same year???? I am not sure my heart could take it all...^^

Maybe you should have mentioned that the tweet is from Feb and has nothing to do with any actual announcement of a SaGa game? He made the tweet while musing about the launch of the PS4 in Japan. :p

Square Enix's boss said that they'll announce a console RPG that isn't a remake in December though.

Well, they basicly did so at PSX, since FFVII is an an Port, and not a Remake

Please dont hurt me :(

Anyway, when can except Square Enix to drop some new Announcements? I'm praying for some new shiny 3DS Games :)

If only NCL could drop the price of the WiiU...

Even if we humored it appearing on PS4, I'd have to imagine something incredibly low rent a la Drakengard 3.

That said that type of game is pretty rare out of Square Enix these days.

Wasn't the statement in the new Dengeki issue, about the PS anniversary or am I misreading something?

Yes, it's a few general comments from developers for the magazine's anniversary. It's pointless to read into anything beyond "there is a new SaGa title coming", especially when the last SaGa title was a f2p mobile game.

So around 30K Wii ? Would have been a good bump if it was just for Smash, but there's also the holidays.

What was it next(this) week last year?

Two copies sold? That's not a bomb guys, stop trolling!!!
...I won't trust zeromcd73 anymore. We need a *dontbelievehislies.jpg* with zero's avatar, it's not the first time this happens.

So Smash DID move Wii U... but it's plain terrible so close to Christmas, and compared to last year.

About that Uchikoshi comment, I don't think it's ZE3 to be honest.

Uchikoshi already said he was working on another project and the success of that project could potentially convince his superior to greenlight ZE3. Unless western sales were so good they were able to compensate for the poor JP sales.

Besides, I doubt he's involved with "many projects", he's probably talking about SC itself.
