Hmm Could you make it a bit taller? oh and maybe move the X up a couple milimiters

MPI+Sawano = Silky Music https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tcJLLboLuGA

Everyone I know loves this track https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UJSi3Ntxc_A

Like this or this? If you want it different, don't hesitate to ask me again!

Oddly enough, I never heard that second track. Rreally like it, so I'm shocked I've never heard it. Also, why is Sawano credited for the music in Taiyou no Uta, when it seems that the composer is Kayta Shiina?

There is a Taiyou no Uta movie and a Taiyou no Uta TV series. Sawano composed for the TV series.

His name is written on the OST's front cover so there is no mistaking it.

Sorry, wasn't around earlier.

Takahashi is introducing another two designers today. One of them is Yoko Tsukamoto (http://yokotyo.sub.jp/), and he says that my mentioning her name, he thinks that people will understand that Xenoblade X's world isn't just made up of scifi elements. (What he means is that Tsukamoto is a famous fantasy illustrator.)

Another designer on the game is Takashi Kojo (http://www.kojo-takashi.jp), who will be doing enemy design for the game. Takahashi says that the highlight of Kojo's designs will be huge enemies, and that he is responsible for designing the strongest unique enemy in the game. He is also responsible for designing the Growth Soldiers which players will see a lot of in the game (while getting crushed under their feet lol).

Doesn't read OPs, especially not his own

This just makes me want pictures even more lol

Yeah I think not having images along with these tweets is a waste. Even if it's just one minor design illustration for each designer he introduces, it would go a long way.

Thanks, added to the OP.

Cool to hear the game wouldn't be made only of sci-fi elements, though it's not a real surprise.

Sci-fi + fantasy sounds like an interesting mix. But what I really want to see is the different regions of the planet. We've already seen a couple via trailers, but I need more, ha ha.

Looks like he worked on Xenoblade too: http://www.kojo-takashi.jp/

Sci-fi + Fantasy themes huh

Growth Soldiers which players will see a lot of in the game (while getting crushed under their feet lol).
I wonder what that means... Like literally getting crushed? Ohhhh maybe thats why they are called Growth lol

Yeah, the region in the trailer just reminds me of "starter" area in rpgs. You always normally begin in a green, foresty or field area

Didn't the term Growth was mentioned in the trailer as some group? I dunno, just kinda remembered a part of the dialogue in the E3 trailer...

The way he talks about growth here, indicating the soldiers are huge along with the E3 trailer talking about wiping out humanity as the duty of growth has me very interested in what Growth is.

Is it an actual race, a military force or a philosophy. I.e. growth is a project involved with genetics somehow. Their soldiers are genetically created or modified to be giants.

I can't think of an entire alien race being made solely of giants in the game. It would make interactions between humans and them kind of awkward.

I'm still very impressed that despite being announced almost two years ago and only months away from release we have no idea about the alien races in the game that caused humanity to escape.

I think they might just use giant mechs, instead of literally being giants?
And yay I'm a member now! :D

they should really start posting screens...!!! or at least artworks
How about some more Tsukamoto artwork then, she sure love dragons haha

I think it's from her that that alien race got its horns :p

Kojo does monster designs though, not mech designs. It's pretty obvious that the game will have a large variety of enemy types - both organic and mechanical. I don't think the Growth faction are humans at all, they might be one of the two alien races which originally destroyed Earth.

I hope Nintendo is not actively holding XCX back to hype Zelda U

every tweet for this game raise my hype level

I want to see new areas and want confirmation of Space or Moon exploration

I... don't think he's done tweeting today? There isn't much there other than him introducing Fumihiro Katagai and RARE ENGINE. He doesn't even talk about what they're doing on the game, other than implying that they joined the production midway through development.

These tweets have become less and less interesting.:/ Some hints about the gameplay, the world setting or a few concept sketches would have been so much better...

Think of it this way. At one point in time all the staff is introduced. From then on, they need to use different subjects if they want to continue tweeting.

I don't mind introducing the stuff...but i would have appreciated it if they were a bit more specific about their roles in development.A photo of the developer would have also been nice.

maybe they should stop tweeting.

I didn't say that...i'm thankful for these tweets. All i'm saying is that they could have made them a bit more interesting.

Well since it doesn't look like there's another set of tweets for now, I'll just translate those.

Takahashi seems to realize that continuously introducing one designer after another in the tweets can be rather boring, but he asks that fans bear with him because he wants to introduce as many of these artists as possible. (duckroll note: It seems that the idea of posting some artwork from the game to make it less boring has not dawned upon him, unless he's not allowed? :p)

Today he introduces another two artists involved in the project - Fumihiro Katagai and RARE Engine.

He also shares that as development on the game progresses, they're seeing a lot of stuff where they go "wow, this is even more interesting than that." He feels that when a project has reached a point where the general direction has already been set, it can be pretty challenging for those joining after. He is very grateful to those who happily accepted the offer to take part.

Takahashi doesn't talk about what the two designers are working on. I can give some background on them though. Katagai is a mecha/conceptual designer who works on anime. He did some guest mecha designs for an episode of Space Dandy, and he worked on various stuff in the past like Last Exile, Votoms, Eureka Seven AO, the Short Peace segment Farewell to Arms, etc. I'm not familiar with RARE ENGINE's work, but he's an illustrator who seems to work mostly on magazine illustrations and artwork for digital card games like Code of Joker and Lord of Vermilion.

Edit: Katagai previously tweeted some of his mecha design work from Gyrozetter, should give an idea of his style:

Weird, I thought RARE Engine was some sort of... welll... game engine, ha ha.

Wonder why he didn't tell us anything about those two.

Thanks for the translation duckroll! I think a project of this scale has a lot of artists, so we probably just need to be patient until the real juicy bits will come :D

Probably Nintendo is not allowing him to share screenshots, art, music and other media just yet.

Best case scenario is IMO a Nintendo Direct in January with a launch trailer and launch date/price. Immediately after that, a new website and better updates at Twitter.

I hope when Takahashi finishes tweeting about designers, he starts to talk about composers (I'm sure Sawano is not the only one, seeing how big is this game. It'd be cool to have ACE+ again, or someone like Shiro Sagisu -big fan of Evangelion music-), and that misterious online capabilities...

I know you have to customize your player but I still do not want him or her to be silent

after Hyrule Warriors I kinda see why voices are better for character driven games

XCX everyone else already talks so should your player character

what do you guys think?

just a little worried no tweets yet about voice talent
