Guess I need to post this again since there are some people who seem to have already forgotten after 2 page. Wow, how the mind slips!

"Allegedly"

Opening admitting to sexually assaulting someone(then banning anyone who called him out for it)

Posting revenge porn with their real full names then another admin(a now jailed pedophile) printed the photos and jacked off over them and sent it to the boyfriend.

You're right, how can we even know if he's guilty or not? HMMMM

I kinda wanna play it now.

No, you don't, this thread made me curious for how the game was...Maybe it was a labor of love, creating an unique experience suited to the DS's strengths?
Hell no.
Maaaaaan, how about that. How barebones can you make something. They included an attempt at a story...let's say Mario games are deeper.

Both of my nieces got used DSes on the cheap and they're both Frozen fanatics, so at least anecdotally I'm not at all surprised. Loads and loads of hardware still circulating around the hands of kids who weren't even born when the system came out.

Of course. There's a ton of people (mainly young kids) who have a DS and never intend to upgrade. Same deal with the Wii. I'm pretty sure the newest Just Dance just sold really well on the Wii, it's been near the top of the Amazon charts for a while now.

Not too surprising. It's the same game on both systems (3DS version just adds a lazy 3D effect) except the DS version was muuuuch cheaper and stocked in a wider variety of retailers.

Frozen has some crazy brand power. I don't think Disney can ever replicate this again, it just hooked with those under 10 year olds so damn quickly.

Isnt it also cheaper on the ds? Id bet theres kids with 3dses winding up with the ds version just because of that if so

I was in a Gamestop a week ago and a mother was asking what 3DS she should get and said she was told by someone that the DS has a better screen and graphics and that she should get that instead. I am not surprised.

The DS version is cheaper and still works on a 3DS, so no shit it sold more. If a parent is going to buy a game based on the retarded Frozen snowman thing you'd better believe they're going to get it as cheap and with as little research as possible.

Why is this a game about a snowman collecting hundreds of long island ice teas

I still see kids with plain DSes on the trains.

Frozen is a super money maker for Disney.

I was looking for the Frozen Barbies for a gift and they were sold out for days!

When you said this, it made me think of that Spyro game that came out when the GBA was on its last legs. Now that was a great game (and to my understanding, different from the DS version)

maybe tomorrow it rains

Hands down, this is the best day of my life.

I don't really think it's that weird. I mean, the 360 will be 10 years old next year, and I'm sure there will still be 360 games being released. Then when you consider the kind of game this is, plus the fact that the 3DS is backwards compatible, it's not a surprising result.

There are more kids with DSs than 3DS so it makes sense for parents to want to get them a DS game. The 3DS is still not picking up with kids... or at least not on the scale of the DS. I think the DS was one of the most popular handhelds.

As far as the game goes. Not here to defend it. But it is a budget title. This game was produced in a very short amount of time, and it was deemed appropriate to give that Where is My Water kind of gameplay, where its levels are short and it has many levels.

These kind of games, if the movie does well, then the games sell. Mostly because of kids wanting a game related to the movie, not because the game stands out on its own. Specially under some of the circumstances they get developed.

Remember when stuff like this used to piss people off so much. It's good to see that with the system dead people can stop pretending it matters much.

I saw this game (and a couple of the most popular DS games) next to the 3DS games at Target recently. The DS sold a shit ton, I'm sure there's still a market somewhere for it.

3DS is backwards compatible.

It's basically the same game.

The DS version is $10 cheaper.

Parents buy the cheaper one and don't have to worry about compatibility either.

Price (and a larger installed base) matters a lot to some consumers. It's why the PS2 continued getting ports for years after the PS3 released. It's why Just Dance on the Wii outsells the Wii U version.
