GAF is racist against westerners dood.

No AZNs here
you don't get much whiter than DD, as he hails from the great white north. And although ****** isn't a developer and he's kind of beige, he's certainly infamous.

also i find the lack of Drunk Kojima Pic in this thread troubling.

Wait. Dylan Cuthbert married Miyamoto's daughter?!?

I heard there are numerous Japanese women unrelated to Shigeru Miyamoto, and you shouldn't believe everything you read on GAF.

a super blurry pic of Inafune that I took at Comic-Con this year. It's super blurry because A) my camera was dying (had to be replaced on this trip) and 2) I was shaking hardcore. :x

As some are posting personal photos here's one from last year's E3 that I took with Itagaki (well I guess he's really easy to recognize anyway :p).

I'm responsible for the Drunk Kojima picture, actually. Total accident. He just happened to be looking my way when he was walking by and I was snapping a picture of him.

Apparently this photo is in the game files for Sonic Adventure on Dreamcast. It isn't rare, but I've only seen it a few times online.

This picture was an unexpected surprise. The man to the left of Miyamoto is Mark Haigh-Hutchinson. I had the pleasure of working with him for a couple of years. He was a great person to get caught into a conversation with, and had a true passion for gaming.

I knew that he had worked at Lucasarts for a time, and was constantly pushing him for an anecdote from those days, being such a huge fan of Monkey Island, Sam and Max, Indy: Fate of Atlantis, and others. He was pleasantly surprised when I knew of an old artistic technique of taking pixel gradients, and animating the palletes to achieve a look of fluidity for things like waterfalls, or lava. His eyes widened and he described it as a "lost art" in these new days of 3D. :) He was equally enthusiastic, when I kept my SNES collection at work, to see that I owned "Metal Warriors," a rare sequel to Cybernator that some people he knew had worked on.

I believe this picture was taken when he had travelled to Japan to work directly with Nintendo on the "Shadows of the Empire" N64 game, during his time at Lucasarts.

Sadly Mark passed away a few years ago, and is sorely missed. His work was prolific for the industry, and at least stretched back all the way to the original classic "Paperboy," as well as a later favorite of his, "Zombies Ate My Neighbors."

It was a pleasant surprise to see him up on here today :)

thanks for sharing , what a talented person that not many people know

Paul Woakes, legendary Encounter and Mercenary programmer (in the specs). I've never seen a picture of him anywhere else, and he appears to have dropped out of the games industry some time in the '90s and may now be a director of a lighting effects company.

Can't say I recognize anyone there.
Or see anyone for that matter.

Hironobu Sakaguchi, Nobuo Uematsu, Tetsuya Nomura and the rest of the FFVI team.

EDIT: Oops, now I get it. The pic was larger before oO Strange.
EDIT2: Fixed?

I don't know if he did it on purpose, but I love how Yoshinori Kitase is doing the classic Luke Skywalker pose in that pic. He is a huge fan of Star Wars.

Gears of War 1 or 2, can't remember, had photographs (I think a sequel had actual video) of everyone that worked on the game that popped up next to their name during the credit sequence. I hadn't seen anything else like it before, and now I see it far more often. At the time, it was awesome, seeing everyone responsible for making the game I just played through (and loved).
