Is there still no info on the PSN+. I don't want to buy the game but wouldn't mind playing a sample just to see the nice graphics.

Just out of curiosity, would an updated version of the Negcon controller from the PS1 days work as a good racing controller in this era?

Tell Rushy to give us more than one damn color for each car. Love the game but this is ridiculous that its either the one stock color, or those god-awful boy-racer livery schemes that look like crap.

You can change the stock color for each custom livery in the garage. It would be a lot better if they just gave us the color chart before a race or at least way more custom liveries than just 4.

We're looking into this as well based upon your feedback :)

Rushy,

for the love of something - hot seat ghost and leadarboard racing for up to as many local players you can muster.

We are playing with friends and passing the gamepad on and on and on.
Would be cool to have some "local lobby" to drink, race, laugh, have fun and just be beating our local times AND THEN when finishing this local play (via finish event), upload the best time into leaderboards!

Ghost can even have different colours and so on.

pls notice me senpai

Hey Rushy, any chance of an option to move my seat forward slightly? I prefer cockpit view but in DC it just feels a little too far back for my liking, a little bit of adjustability would be awesome!

After replay and custom lobbies if there's one more thing I can ask from Rushy and Evolution Studios is for them to bring back that first person mode even if it's just in the garage. I would absolutely love it if I can walk around this amazingly detailed cars. That was one of the things that turned my head at the Ps4 reveal event and got me to start keeping my eye on Driveclub. Common Rushy bring first person mode back if possible. I'm sure that I'm not the only one who would want it.

Have any examples of rain drops landing/forming/building up in the treads of tires been posted? I remember when Evo said that it happens. I'd love to see it for myself.

The more I play of this, the greater it seems to become. By the way, is the Elements pack worth it? I'm thinking of picking it, along with the Redline pack up. Might as well add to the experience, considering how cheap they are.

I think this would be cool. But only if they allowed you to interact with the cars and check out the interiors, for example. Otherwise, you can just use the photo mode to check out the cars up close.

Wouldn't it be great if the lobby was actually like this, so you could check out the other cars while waiting for the connection & syncing to complete.

How does that damn thing even work?

It twists in the middle with a centering spring, this is used for steering and works surprisingly well. The red buttons and one of the shoulder buttons are analog with a long throw, which allows for good precision.

It was originally designed by Namco for use with Ridge Racer, but it works just as well for other racers, like Gran Turismo and especially the WipEout series.

You can change the color to what ever you want, you do it in the garage.

This. Something between the inside dashboard cam and the cockpit cam. Right now it feels like you are driving in the backseat.

yeah that's a big problem with cockpit in general, I find... games (and TV sizes) are designed and chosen based on close to 100% of the TV space being using for gameplay viewing and your focus area... but in the cockpit, you get barely half of that.

I mean, most of the cockpit stuff is sort of supposed to be in your peripheral, like, imagine if you had additional monitors all around a TV, that's where you'd see those details.

it's funny because if I sit like 5 feet closer to my TV so that my eyes are so close to the TV that my focus is basically just on the road and all the cockpit falls into my peripheral, then it feels much more realistic... but then that means i'm sitting like 4 feet away form a 53' tv haha

letting us customize the FOV would help...but it's one of those things where just a far bigger TV (so, if the 'view of the road is 50% smaller than get a 50% bigger TV) may help but the real solution is VR...

general viewing of a TV never really gives good peripheral 'land space' so stuff like cockpits, that are supposed to be in your peripheral, never work well on TV

co-signed, right now I am forced to play 3rd person view to be competitive. Something I never do in other racing games. Would be great if the cockpit views could be tweaked.

And I am still dreaming of G27 support. :(

Buy the season pass. There's content coming through to next July/August.

Great game! It's big with my friends and family right now and I'm telling more friends to get it.

My main gripe so far is this: after spending an hour to figure out how to race with someone in my club I gave up in frustration. And I know its going to be one of those things where someone can quickly point out "all you have to do is go here and click on this, duh", but the point is if my friend and I each spend an hour in vain trying to figure out how to race with each other against other people, there's definitely an issue here that needs to be fixed.

But aside from that, best of luck to the Evolution guys. I think you have a great game and great new IP.

Fantastic, I know it'd a relatively minor thing but this has been so annoying for me as has driver customisation. I'm sure there was far more important things that the team had to do at launch but it would so good to have these things sorted out.

I know DC isn't a sim racer. But after I watched that YouTube video posted above I kinda wish there was more vehicle damage. And when there's too much damage your race is over. Just a thought. Loving the game BTW.
