XSEED registers domains: Corpse Party: Blood Drive, Xanadu Next, Trails of Cold Steel

XSEED is on a roll with setting up new localization projects for the new year, as we’ve learned they’re going to localize the highly anticipated Corpse Party: Blood Drive.

The confirmation is somewhat of a premature leak via a domain for the game being registered. To be clear, this is usually how XSEED (and most companies for that matter) handle their reveals, they set up the website domain first and then follow up with the official announcement.

Since this is about a domain registration, I'm going to piggy back on this, because they also registered XanaduNext.com

The edit didn't remove anything, the blanks are actually what's returned from a reverse whois. They do that so they can charge people to get the full information.

However, yes, it is Trails of Cold Steel, which I am fairly certain is Sen no Kiseki.

Nice, only played the first few hours of Blood Drive, but what I played of it seemed like a return to form for the series.

Just a heads-up for people who haven't played Book of Shadows yet: Play Book of Shadows! The story of Blood Drive picks up where BoS left off. I though BoS was more of a side-story and was pretty surprised by how closely both games are connected story-wise.

Yup, yup, I'm definitely down for more Corpse Party.

I had always assumed this was just a matter of when, rather than if. In fact, it was one of three games I always predicted would be announced for localization as soon as they were released in Japan (the other two being Neptunia Rebirth 2 & DanganRonpa Another Episode).

Only one left now...

Also, more Falcom on PC? Count me in for that too.

Xseed is doing quite well on the Vita

Yeah, I don't get when other publishers shy away from the Vita. It's like last generation, when other publishers shied away from the PSP -- a system is only dead if you make it that way! There were tons of good games being released on PSP last gen, and there are tons of good games being released on Vita this gen. And there's no reason to ignore those good games because "nobody owns a Vita" -- obviously, people do, because we're doing quite well with our Vita releases. ;)

Thanks for the kind comments!

Glad that their localization efforts are paying off.

apparently this info is from xseed's forums: http://forum.marvelous-usa.com/index.php?showtopic=27928&#entry877193

two more, though they're guessing games:
l _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ a.com registered 2014-12-11
t _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ l.com registered 2014-09-23

thought the first one could be legend of nayuta or something but too many characters

According to the post below on that page, the second one is Trails of Cold Steel (that might be what it was before the edit?).

EDIT: Nevermind, looked at the timestamps. Or is it? XD

EDIT2: Hooray!

I thought the second person was just speculating, but trailsofcoldsteel.com is registered to XSEED.

Siliconera is gonna have a heart attack with their tags.
