Quantic Dream: "Some great news coming in January!"

I want games in the universe of the wizard and female human robot tech demos gawd damn!

The wizard thing could be interesting. A struggling videogame actor trying to make it in the videogame business? Games being 'made' like we see movies made, with characters really being actors doing gigs?

Sounds like a more dramatic wreck it Ralph to me, but i'm perfectly fine with that.

Exactly. I see the wizard game being some weird amalgamation of Truman show and the mandarin character in Ironman 3. Some kind of 4th wall breaking mellow drama. Kara demo I'm not even sure but that scene really grabbed me.
Dem feels.
I really became entranced in her wish for a chance at what we consider normal and take for granted. Don't know how either would make good games but I'm excited to find out.

As cool as Sony has been with QD I'm not sure even they're willing to publish a game where the protagonist is some old dude. And I'd love to see a Kara demo but didn't Cage say his next game would surprise people or something along those lines? Anyway anything would be better than a remaster...

You're not gonna get a reveal of a new IP before E3. So, probably, Beyond 2 Souls remaster.

I guess the remaster madness keeps on going. Its bad news when it takes time and ressources away for a new game.

Hope it's something new though.

Won't be surprised if it's a remaster announcement. Seems to be a popular way to fill out schedule gaps, and for teams to get some field testing of their current generation engines. Can't say I liked either of Quantic Dreams' games last generation all that much, but if nothing else, they are "interesting". If priced correctly, it should be a decent purchase for those that haven't played it yet and haven't been spoiled after all this time.

Only... it doesn't
And most of the time, it's good for the developers, because they can learn how the new console "works".
This "takes ressources for new games away" nonsense is hilarious.

Heavy Rain is a better game than Beyond Two Soul's. Either way, I really don't think this Remaster is going to do particular well.

I doubt it will be a Beyond remaster tbh and if it is, it probably comes bundled with Heavy Rain at this point. That I could see doing reasonably well. Beyond sold 2 million at this point and a few probably held out not to mention people who never played either.

I've tried to get into Quantic Dreams' games, even Indigo Prophecy, but they just don't connect with me.

Their games are pretty different from most so it wouldn't suprise me if their games are a "love or hate it" affairs for most people. Indigo prophecy is my favourite game from them.

Fahrenheit/Indigo Prophecy remastered? That would be quite the surprise. Guess it will be a simple HD port included in a collection together with Beyond: Two Souls and Heavy Rain.

I thought I was excited when I thought it was just going to be a Beyond/Heavy Rain remaster. If it turns out to be Indigo Prophecy I'm gonna lose it. I love that game.

Hmm, I see some mention of Aspyr in the whois information. Might be an incoming mobile port, then, since they've mostly been working on those.
