I'm sorry, I'm actually interested in this game, but this trailer unabashedly calls us morons.

Buy our shit. Look at all these dudebros fawning over teh graphix. This dude has never traveled the world just like you so you can believe him. Pre-order now and get an identical looking worthless character skin. Preorder exclusively at Gameeeespooot to get something we nixed out of the game for everyone else. Pre-order now don't wait for the critical reviews to form your opinion buy our shit without knowing whether it's good we're cool.

For months we asked for new footage and when we finally get some, all we can talk about is people's "reactions" and how this must be a shameless ad to fool the average brainless viewer?
Is it better if you turn the speakers off? :|

New footage looks cool. The visuals are off the charts. I'm still a little sceptical about the game as a whole but I think I'm gonna get it just for the graphics and possibly intriquing storyline. Visuals this good I have to experience myself even if the game itself proves to be less than stellar.

According to HLTB Uncharted took most people 9 hours to beat http://www.howlongtobeat.com/game.php?id=10799

The Order at 8-9 hour long is just the standard in this genre. I'm going to take my sweet time enjoying the graphics and awesome guns. The rumoured photo mode post launch will keep me busy for hooouurs. Rushed you can beat UC1 in 5 hours. (no doubt some will claim The Order is a short game by speedrunning through it).

Looking forward to reviews/impressions, this game looks like a hypothetical gritty reboot of Codename Steam.

Nope not at all. The only thing they have in common is the Victorian setting. Codename Steam blends that with its terrible comic art style.

My Concern posts

Only bad movies usually have fan reaction like that, I hope this is just cheesy for the sake of being cheesy. I also hope the game is challenging and hard mode is actually hard, while unlocking an even more difficult mode after completion.

My fanboy post

Best Graphics Ever...Gears/TLOU-like gameplay is a winning combination for me.

Wish that Tesla/lightning w/e gun had more of an impact on people. Like maybe have a giant spark where it hits and then have the body ragdoll several feet away. Looks weak to be honest.

Still hype for the game though, decent trailer, can't wait to play!

Was edited out but you can incinerate people and leave a haze of blood mist with this weapon. It was shown in a previous clip when the female makes a guy on the balcony above her explode.

Love the new bits of footage, but I generally don't like these kind of hype trailers unless they're showing audience reactions at horror stuff.

They just feel ridiculous. And there are no girls excited for The Order? Eh.

Still massively hyped for Order. Bring on dat Launch and Story trailer, RAD.

That's it?

Are you guys 100% sure about this?

That's ridiculously disappointing.

No way in hell can I justify anything near full price for a game that short D:

It is the standard for this type of game.

Hopefully there's some replay value. Something like NG+ or new modes like those you unlock in Wolfenstein.

15-20 hours would have been ideal (TLoU), but I suppose for RAD's first AAA outing it will have to suffice :/

The Order 1886 sequel will be longer, probably.

Not long to go now! When they first showed the game it didn't really interest me but over time I'm liking it more and more. Please let this play well!!! Although they aren't the most important thing the trophy list has helped for me as I love games that expect you replay to collect stuff, the other trophies are the standard do a load of stealth kills, head shots, etc which are also spot on for me.

Really not sure about some of the pre-order stuff though, if they are what I think they are I think I'd much rather avoid the "Endless Blackwater" (healing), and "Blacksight Regeneration" (bullet time) as I see it taking something away from the game.

Look really slick, dig the aesthetic, but after the past 2 years I'm not pre-ordering anymore games. Will wait for twitch streams & day 1 patches/fixes to pan out.

TLOU is more around 15. I can;''t say I'm not disappointed by a 8-10 hour length slightly but if the pacing and the difficulty options are there, I don't mind too much.

Edit: The length of TLOU and Evil Within are my sweet spot.

It's only less than that if you played it like Call of Duty.

About the same for me, maybe over 20.

Sometimes its hard not rush past all the clickers and such. Especially during a few key segments.

The Last of Us got me 12-13 hours on my playthroughs.

Uncharted 1 was about 11-12 on my first.

How is that even possible? U1 is a far, far shorter game than TLOU. U1 was shorter than U2 and U3, and TLOU is a good 5+ hours longer than both of them. Average is probably around 16 hours for TLOU, though both me and my sister finished at roughly 19 hours.

8-10 hours, 10-12 if you like to take your time, take in the sights and a explore a bit.

Difficulty will also change things around.

Sick.

On length...I believe it took me around 20 hours to beat TLoU. Very thorough though. Uncharted 1 can't remember probably 7-8 I rushed though as it was lackluster, especially after playing the 2nd one first.

I'm cool with 7-12 hours for this game, and most single player games. Most games I never finish anyway.

Man, so we will have to mash the buttons even harder? =/

This 8 to 12 hours timing sounds about right for me. It took me freaking 15-16+ hours to beat The Evil Within and I felt like there were a lot of fillers in the game just for the sake of increasing the game time. I would have enjoyed it a whole lot more if the cut down on it and made a decent paced campaign. I don't have the time to sit through lengthy 20 hours campaigns anymore.

I sure hope The Order: 1886 is going for this approach.

Vanquish was a 4 hour game but I have played it more than any other game and got more entertainment out of it than anything else I can remember.

I would rather have a 8 hour game that is fun to replay than a 20 hour game padded with shit just to make it longer.

Because I died a shit ton in Uncharted 1 thanks to the inaccurate jumping/controls. I literally spent over 30 minutes trying to swing across the rope in The Fortress level.

Will The Order's soundtrack be available separately from the game? I don't wanna buy the Collector's Pack just so I can get the soundtrack as well.

Pre-order The Order: 1886™ PlayStation®Store Edition now and receive over $15 of additional content including an Exclusive Airship Dynamic Theme, Official Game Soundtrack with Bonus Tracks, and The Knight's Arsenal DLC as a bonus when the game releases! Upon completion of the game use The Knight’s Arsenal DLC to equip Galahad with alternate Knight uniforms and powerful variant weapons including the explosive Arsonist Rifle and Arc Rifle Prototype which fires devastating bolts of red electricity. Each pack includes an interchangeable uniform and variant weapon. Play the game on 2/20/15 starting midnight PST.

I bought a theme weeks ago, but it isn't the airship theme. I didn't find anything available as of today. I pre-ordered last night. It might show up soon. I noticed the theme for RE Remastered was for PS3 only with the cross buy. Grim Fandango might also be a PS3 theme. Soundtracks, DLC, etc probably show up later in Recent Items. As of now I only see two ways of getting the soundtrack.

I don't know the exact number, but from what I do know, there will be some scenes/areas similar to those seen in the artwork. I wouldn't really expect hundreds on screen at once though.

yeah i don't expect that me too! The stupid crowd of unity it's too little detailed for me, they look like zombies ahahahah, better less characters at once but more detailed. I'm just curios about the number. If i remember correctly, no artworks has showed hundreds of people on screen, but a good and realistic amount.

TLOU is no where near 20 hours unless you super slow,

If you just storm through the game then yeah, TLoU could probably take as long as 12 hours. I like exploring and seeing everything I can reach so it took me about 21 hours the first time. My recent Grounded playthrough took about 20 hours if I'm not mistaken.

While I played through Vanquish three times myself I prefer something like Wolfenstein or Shadow Warrior which are at least 12hrs, that's a pretty good length for single player only and both games have proven that you can fill that time with good content even in a linear action game.
