So does that mean millions of arisen are going to be skulking around? Guess I'm no longer a special snowflake :/

well the whole idea behind the story of DD is that the arisen really was never a special snowflake to begin with, especially considering there are even other arisen in the same world as you at the time + everything in the endgame and bitterblack isle

not to mention to whole 'infinite parallel worlds' aspect of the everfall and rift

I've heard that at the end of New Game+
you fight your previous character, who is the new Seneschal.

Oh yeah, I'll have to apologize to him again. I felt burned after the SFV and DmC: R reveals.

Would Capcom really make Street Fighter 5, Deep Down and Dragons Dogma 2 online exclusively for PS4?

That would be some kind of deal Sony pulled off. Dragons Dogma is likely a game like SF5 that would of needed outside funding help to get made

Anybody who thinks Deep Down is/was Dragon's Dogma has either never played Dragon's Dogma, or had their memory wiped after playing it. Deep Down looks and plays NOTHING like a Dragon's Dogma game lol.

Anyways...FUCK YES. Capcom, please don't make me regret this massive amount of hype I just let enter my body.

Fuck yes, can't wait for more details!
Really hoping it won't be disappointing, since it's not really a 2 and the online aspzct might also change a lot of things.

I think a Dragon's Dogma Online could work if they follow a structure similar to PSO/2/MH or whatever. Basically gather teammates, change equipment and skills, and do all the character management while in town. In the "field" so to speak, everything would be instanced.

But we'll see. Remaining optimistic for now.

We are just fearing it will be Deep Down.
Because no one wants to play Deep Down after watching the gameplay video.
I am keeping my hype in check until they announce that it isn't Deep Down-Code named.

Yeah but Deep Down doesn't play or look anything like Dragon's Dogma. I think anyone fearing that the two have become one is crazy.

only in offline mode if it can't draw any data from online, otherwise you fight a random person's player character and pawn. it's even their level too scaling wise, which is neat but also super anticlimactic because it just means sometimes you're even more overpowered to fight them
there's a lot of cool stuff about the thematics of dragon's dogma that i hope sticks around. that the game thematically supports both your continuing to play and stopping after having finished the game is so damn cool

Say what? That gameplay demo was awesome at TGS. The fight with the dragon with the time stop spells and the dragons fire getting caught by a players wind spell was insane and badass.

May want to recheck that demo. Most peeps just didn't like the poke poke of the staff back then.

Yeah. I've heard it get knocked for being generic, but it had some surprisingly interesting lore. And I personally love the setting/theme. And the game came right out of nowhere. I'd never heard of it until I saw it's demo on the PlayStation store back in 2012, and now it's one of my favorite games.

I'll be interested if it's an MMO. Especially since it could be an MMO with potentially alright combat, if they keep it the same style. I hate the combat in most MMOs, it sucks. While Dragon's Domga's combat isn't that good (it really isn't) it's godly compared to an MMO. I feel like I could enjoy the game more in a social atmosphere.

Though, I feel sorry for fans of the game as this isn't what you probably wanted.

But Deep Down's gameplay looks fine so I don't know what you're talking about. The only concern with Deep Down is the F2P monetisation.

This isn't Deep Down anyway so I don't know why people bring it up.

Into Free!

Oh man, I'm so excited. Dragon's Dogma was one of my favorite games last generation, and I bought both versions. I easily put 200+ hours into the games and really got sucked into pimping out my pawn.

You still won't believe it when it's confirmed that we can play with 4 other players. :3

But..
Asura is dead.
;_;

Oh man, just thinking about 4 player DD is getting me too damn excited...I don't know how I'm going to pass the day at work. It's literally all I can think about.

Please don't let me down, Capcom. Now is the time for redemption.

And keep the faith. Asura will rise again.

Ok from the little blurb I think it's safe to say that this is a AAA console game, there's no way you would describe an iOS game as 本格的なアクション

Dragons Dogma Dark Arisen is an incredible game so more Dragons Dogma in my life the better.

Exploring something like Bitterblack Isle style content with others would be exceptional,

Please please please don't be MMO or free to play. I'll be perfectly happy with a remake since the original ran so poorly, but a sequel would be preferable and would be up there with Bloodborne on my most wanted list.

Going by the description it sounds like the game is Vanilla DD or possibly Dark Arisen with online features. It could be that it features an online mode similar to Metal Gear Online. Honestly that's what I think it is.

Edit: Never mind. Just saw the translation. Sounds like an MMO, but it's possible it's something like MGO.

So...can anybody tell me if this is an MMO or not? I really hope it's not.

It would be SWTOR all over again. :(
