Is that actually how the image looks with ReSahde or just when taking the screenshot? Screenshot capture with GeDo or ReShade?

It looks worse when toggling on ReShade. I can see details getting a bit screwed up.

Somehow Midhras is getting around this in Transformers though, so I'm going to try changing a few settings.

Screenshots captured with GeDo, as that's the only way to grab the full resolution.

Wanted to replay this game in preparation of Arkham Knights, was shorter than I remembered it to be but I still liked it.
I utterly failed getting any enhancers/injectors to work and I really tried. Nothing worked, I don't know what I did wrong, frustrating. So I just ran with the "vanilla" game and Sunbeams CT for no Hud and fly/ghost mode.

It's supposed to look way better than this but i couldn't find a site that would let me upload a 31.6 MB 4K BMP image and retain it's quality (sadly the ENB saves screenshots as huge BMPs rather than a simple PNG).

So here's a bloody jpeg... :(

Yea, this thread is owned by PC desktop master race=D Thx, btw!

I'd be careful throwing that term around, what with touchy people being touchy lately.

JPEGs look just fine, and aren't so lossy if you set them up correctly. Most of us would rather not have to download a 31.6 MB file every time we opened this page up. Why not convert the image to a low-size PNG?

Please don't post 30mb images here.
Check out this threads OP, under "The Tools" (FastStone) for ways to reduce image size while retaining quality. Thanks! :)

Will do next time! Sorry about that  I shouldn't have tried to take the lazy approach.

Haha, basic random Saints Row. How is GooH? I read it's kind of stripped down from IV. (Vehicle tuning, character customization)

This was a very strange stealth mission. For half the mission you are a box.

I don't know if you guys are joking, or you don't get the reference to an incredibly popular gaming franchise where the spy protagonist sneaks around in boxes to evade detection...

Gorgeous, how do you get shots like this in Space Engine?

I have made sure to go to procedural generated planets and set the LOD to 2 but they never look like this. Terrain never has that much detail.

I don't own the game, but I think I remember that you must let the camera sit there while the terrain loads.

Yeah, I tried it out the other day and it can keep loading in new stuff for a very long time.

I have waited until the "spinning" icon stops and it never gets to that point of detail, maybe there is a config file or something to push LOD above 2.

BTW, you dont need to purchase Space Engine, its completely free.

Can take a while to find interesting terrain. LOD2 should be good unless you're running onboard graphics or very weak GPU.

You need to find the right planet, place, lighting condition (you can accelerate time and make the planet spin to get to the right lighting), lod does not go higher than two. Most planets just don't have very good and varied surface details. You have to search around a bit.

Alright, thanks guys, this "game" is just amazing, thank you guys for introducing it to me, saw a picture here and decided to try it :)

Not sure, I haven't tried GooH.

A Snake-in-a-box? Yeah, I got the reference. I haven't actually played any of that franchise though and sneaking around as a box struck me as pretty funny.

MGS, yes I know but I was talking about Saints Row in general...

Sorry, in hind sight I kinda sounded like a dick. By the way you guys were talking I thought it might have gone over your head and it surprised me! That was a really funny part, even if the battle at the end wasn't the most fun.

NP, I didn't take it that way. Your right about the battle at the end, it just kept on going on and on and on...but then I thought that was probably also part of the jab at "stealth-shooters" as well where boss battles are these big grind fests.

I've actually been very surprised at how ludicrously fun this game has been. I've had SR3 on Steam for ages but only played about 20 minutes before putting it down. Tried SRIV in the recent free weekend and still having a blast. Ludicrous + open world + super powers = crazy fun!
...

Here's another box cutter shot to go with the text.
