Point is, I wouldn't be surprised at all if MS started doing that. It's not an obvious glitch and that tells a lot about the company.

Already got #IDARB for the XBOX ONE but am wondering, is that the only free game available for the XBOX ONE for the month of February? I see the list of games available for xbox live gold members but they are only showing the xbox 360

D4 is still free from last month.
Each game is on GwG for 2 months, so you get 1 new game per month, this month is IDARB as the new game

Oh I see how it works..thanks so much for letting me know. I am new to XBOX LIVE so I have lots to learn..I just figured it was like the PSN Network how they give three games per month, just assumed it was the same for xbox live

So...#IDARB.
Not great. It sounds good on paper, a 2D game where your main objective is to score more goals than the other player, but it's just terrible in practice. While playing, I couldn't help but think of Rocket Riot and how that game did a much, much better job with the same concept.
There's also far too little range to shoot the ball, the camera is too close to allow for making long shots and the collision detection of the ball on the scenery doesn't feel quite right.
I'm also not a fan of the ads that are pretty distracting or the twitter tag. I also don't like that the game resets back to the logos when you finish an online game or if the connection is lost.
So yeah, deleted and a waste of a slot in my opinion.

D4, IDARB and Worms are all free right now.
I think IDARB went up early for some reason.
The twitter stuff changes your game.
Did you see that much?
People tweet certain hashtags and it makes your game go crazy.
Ads? I didn't notice them. Then again I did play the game for approximately 2 minutes before shutting it down.

I didn't experience this. Does it only work in multiplayer?
I played about three games and two of them ended in network issues.
Bottom of the map. They pop up and range from things like Access Games, @IDXBOX, Shantae and a couple more which I can't remember right now. Thankfully they aren't animated/video ads, but they are still distracting.

I had everyone in the match turn to clowns, rick astley appeared and danced across the screen, and the oktober fest one where the screen filled with beer and everyone was swimming.
The game is packed with nonsense that I will have fun exploring! I cant see the majority liking this game at all, but i shall add this with geometry wars as my fun little time wasters.
Made a Black Mage and Super Mario, but the awkward shaped box we have to make sprites in make them look strange. Will explore making zelda songs later

Huh, I had none of this. It was just a basic score based game. Nothing crazy. Do you have to turn this on or something?
It's in the options.
You have to turn on twitter and/or twitch hashbombs.

Good to hear they're working on more than 1v1 online. Didn't they get the "split-screen is out, fully online multiplayer is in" memo? Just seems weird. Must be based on limited dev time.

I think it may be more money related. Isnt that why Towerfall is only offline? i dont really know anything about how online works but isnt this the equivalent of system link? It just looks for 1 other xbox thats looking for the same settings as yours and links the 2?
Getting JUST 1 MORE person to join and play with you online makes it quite fun. Considering how poor local Co-Op support is now-a-days, I'm glad to see a dev give it preferential treatment for once.
...Though there's a LOT that need to be expanded on in even that area.
I do hope they can get more people playing in the same game from a large number of Xbox's. It is a shame that's tainting so many people's views of the game. I'll just happily run my Monster World and Bomberman teams while waiting for better features and improvements.

- Offline story mode isn't the most obvious thing. I'm sure many are overlooking it.
- Bot matches should be easy to set up.
- Offline need's Co-Op for as many players as it can handle, badly.

Does the game have input lag? They're clearly using lockstep networking. Lockstep lets you have a bunch of entities and client-side processing.
This is similar netcode to fighters or Halo co-op.
The way certain games are set up, lockstep is the only sane networking.
The downside is the more boxes you add to the session, the worse the input lag gets, because every box has the sync with each other. Which is probably why the update is going to only push it up to 4 boxes.

I think it's no longer free, as it's after the 15th, that means Sniper Elite V2 replaced it.

Contact support. Sounds like it might be a bug on their end.
If you didn't download it again on the console, then it could be a bug, although I've never heard of an error like that with XBL before. And honestly I can't remember if you can download trials via Xbox.com anymore to ask if you did that.
I'd say the best thing to do to know it's a bug for sure is to check your download history for the date and that is says the full version.

my friend got the games with gold xbox one games before he had his xbox one. as long as youre logged into your account before you try to make a purchase it should work fine.
I only have a 360, but have been able to 'purchase' all the free X1 games with gold so far*. If I ever do get an X1 I will have a nice little backlog built up.
*On Xbox.com
It doesn't work the same way as on Xbox 360 - on Xbox One, they are games freely available as long as you've got an Xbox Live Gold membership.

I don't know why it's not working for you, but I have every GWG game for the XB1 so far owned on my account via Xbox.com, and I don't have an XB1 yet nor have I ever put my account on an XB1.
The next best thing you can do then is tie a PayPal account to your Xbox account, and set it that it can never be charged via PayPal itself. I don't think it makes a difference for the XB1 Marketplace, but maybe you need a payment option for some reason. GWG will never charge your account of course, but you can do that as a backup in case of accidental purchases for other games.
I know with 100% certainty that you can link the free games with gold games to your account despite not owning an Xbox One. Remember that the XB1 has an entirely different marketplace than the 360. Get them at store.xbox.com
oh I just remembered something, youre gold has to be a paid subscription, trial gold will not work

It's a "glitch." I got the Xbox One and XBL back in December. During that time, I bought some Xbox 360 games with no problem since they were really cheap if you had XBL.
When The Witcher 2 was being offered as part of GwG, I tried getting it and it wouldn't let me. I also tried getting Dead Rising since it was $5 and that didn't work either. I contacted MS and they kept telling me their servers were down; they said that for about two weeks untill I finally asked my brother if I could borrow his system (don't have one of my own yet). As soon as I entered my account on the system, everything was fine. I can now get the games through the webstore even though my brother's system is already shelved.
This is annoying as hell.

I'm surprisingly digging sniper elite. It's rough around the edges and I'm terrible at playing it, but man the snipping feels good. Hopefully the game will keep my attention until the end.
