If I say this is some of what's coming for you in the next two years:

Bloodborne
The Order: 1886
Uncharted 4
Until Dawn
The Last Guardian
Gran Turismo
Sly 5
Sony Bend Project
Guerilla Hybrid project
Sony/Sega project
Sony/Capcom project

So if the Last Guardian comes out 2016, it should definitely get announced at this E3.
Wow that would shake up everyone

Sony needs to announce GT7 already. Almost 2 years since the PS4 was revealed and we haven't seen anything about it's most important franchise.

And Kaz said that it will release in 2015/2016, so it's less than 2 years away, at most. They announced U4 2 years before release, so this shouldn't be a problem.

maybe they will announce it on a extra event (like they did with Gran Turismo 6)

Good ol Sony has been pretty good about playing their cards close to their chest so far this gen. I see no reason why they couldn't surprise us with another major first party annoucement for later this year. Honestly, I'm expecting it.

According to their SIGGRAPH talk they finished Killzone 3 in October (moved their production staff away from that) and only released the game in February.

Maybe you meant that or maybe they have a history of that?

Nope, I'm not. It was heavily rumoured (to the point where everyone assumed it was true) that Killzone 2 was done but Sony delayed it because they already had Resistance 2 hitting during the 2008 holiday season.

Yet another? From the currently announced they have only 3 throughout the year (wouldn't count Until Dawn as aaa, No Man's Sky is problematic and arguable) and only one for the Holidays. That's hardly overkill, especially for Q4.
You want to see a stacked year for Playstation, check 2011 or 2013, as it stands 2015 has nothing on them (well, more mid tier games)

You have a ridiculous understanding of what AAA means if you think No Man's Sky is in any way problematic or arguable and yet dismiss all those others.

FYI, "AAA" is a marketing term used to refer to budget size.

But honestly, who gives a shit? Even if I were to agree with you that they've "only" got three AAA games coming out this year, it's not like those three games are all Sony's releasing. My point is that they've got a full lineup for the year already. I could see them adding one or two smaller games to it (like how Entwined came out of nowhere at E3 last year) but major games? No, that'd be dumb.

Next year is going to be completely crazy in terms of games for Sony.

Start of next year: The Order 1886, Planetside 2, Deep Down, The Tomorrow Children and Bloodborne.
Middle: Until Dawn, Everybody's going to Rapture, No Mans Sky and Rime.
Fall: Uncharted 4: A Thiefs End, Fat Princess: Adventure, Wild, Street Fighter V.

And then you have Gran Truismo 7, Sony Bends, San Diego, Media Molecule, Guerrilla and maybe The Last Guardian. And that is just exclusives.

And Frictional's SOMA should come out some time this year as well.

Anyone else think there is even the slightest chance the last guardian will be out this year?

the optimist and pessimist inside me have been beating the crap out of each other for the last 3 years. the optimist has been running on fumes for quite some time.

Start of next year? Do you mean this year because games in your list seem to be coming in 2015? And if I recall correctly, Deep Down and Street Fighter V haven't had release windows yet :)

Lol.

Who knows. Weirder things have happened. But I wouldn't hold your breath.

no. I think Gran Turismo will make it this year to compete with Forza 6

Next Year? Last Guardian, Sony Bend, Guerilla Games, Maybe God of War ? Street Fighter, Level 5 Game

I kind of hope not. I want the next inFAMOUS to have more meaningful side content even if it takes longer. I know business is business though.

Well for SS most of the work went into engine and tech which would alredy be done for the next game, so in 2.5 they could add much more content than the last one.

I just want a God of War 4. 3 blew me away ( might be my favorite PS3 game), and I want that again on my PS4

counting the new God of War, what other games do we have solid confirmations for that will be released after Uncharted 4? I'm not seeing all that much. Every time i peak past Uncharted i just see a whole lot of blurry dark scary shit.

I wish sony would just pull a marvel studios and announce every damn thing they were doing straight through 2019.

How are people making these list and development quality without knowing?

Coming Soon:
The Order 1886 (AAA Development & Graphics)
Bloodborne (AAA Development & Graphics)

Spring/Summer:
Planetside 2 (SOE AAA Development & Graphics)
MLB 15 (AAA Development)
Tearaway Unfolded (AAA Development)
Ratchet & Clank Redux (AAA Development)
Until Dawn (AA Development)

Holiday:
Uncharted 4 (AAA Development & Graphics)
GT7 Prologue (AAA Development & Graphics)

Until Dawn has AAA graphics and probably budget if you consider a game like Beyond Two Souls AAA(I do).

Honestly, yes.

IMO, TLG has been in such a precarious state of PR that I don't see Sony re-announcing it without an solid, confirmed release window at the same time. Not 'targeted release window', but a "we know we can release within this 3 months, confirmed." window.

Eg. If it's re-announced at E3 2015, it'll be a Fall 2015 release. If it's announced at PSX 2015, it'll be a 1H 2016 release. If it's announced at E3 2016, it'll be Fall 2016.

That's my guess anyway.

Until Dawn has AAA graphics and probably budget if you consider a game like Beyond Two Souls AAA(I do).

I would make it AAA Writing since it has a lot of writers from the horror genre but it doesn't have AAA graphics that's for sure nor development because it's from XDEV and Supermassive. (Based on what I saw on PSX)

This was actually the reasoning behind my post. I just don't see them handling tlg like s-e handled versus xiii/xv. "Yup here it is! You all thought it was dead but it isn't! Now just wait 2.5 more years..."

3-6 months after the re-reveal (whenever this may be) feels completely reasonable to me at this point.

So, given recent events - the Konami collaboration now has 2 contenders: Silent Hills or MG Rising 2.

Sony already has a marketing deal for MGS5 so I would imagine they'll be marketing MGSR2 as well. If their collaboration is that game then it effectively makes PS4 to go to platform for that series again.

Sucker Punch's next game isn't going to be infamous, at least thats what everybody's saying these days.

Aww, this is the first time I've seen this. Infamous is my favorite franchise. I can live with a break, but I would be really sad if SS was the last one they ever made. Here's to hoping their next franchise is even better then.

Other than Shenmue, which obviously everyone wants - the only other SEGA property I'd want given attention to is Valkyria Chronicles.

Perhaps it's just another Yakuza game. I thought there were rumours of Square Enix JRPG and Level 5 JRPG for PS4. Also how does anyone know Sony Bend game is a AAA retail game. It could easily be a high budget PSN game.

Yakuza Zero is possible. It was next to Yakuza 5 on a PSX contact paper or something like that.

Bends Game SOUNDS like it's going to be a Retail Game. But i guess we've to wait to find out.

Level 5 RPG is no rumor. It will be announced at E3.

Cant see that happening. Other then a brief mention from Kaz about it being in development and he is mostly completely useless at decent release windows, monitoring other games or giving a stuff about player wishes.

2017 for GT7

FIA World Online Championship is something that PD is probably focused on currently.

Will it happen on GT6 engine, or GT7 engine, or both - that is the real question.

2017 for GT7

I expect December 2016 release.

That's 3 years after GT6 which is reasonable. Didn't they say they made GT6 future proof so they can use the assets for GT7. I expect GT7 reveal at PSX this year.

Basically this os how I see announcements happening this year.

E3
Level 5 JRPG
Horizon (Guerilla Games New IP)
Beyond/Heavy Rain Directors Cut

Gamescom
Uncharted 4 Multiplayer Reveal
Sony Bend New IP

TGS
Gravity Rush 2 Re reveal

PSX
Media Molecule New IP
Gran Turismo 7

I think Quantic Dreams New IP and God of War 4 are so early in development they will get revealed at 2016.

Edit
I actually can see Sony announcing GT7 with a Teaser a month before Forza 6 release. Then a full reveal at PSX.

Shirley they're using the same engine, even for the PS4 game. I hope they aren't starting over again. GT7 won't be till next year then.

.

It was 4 years between 3 and 4, 5 years between 4 and 5 and 3 years between between 5 and 6. 6 In turn was not well received being mostly GT5 but with less features and a different UI and still missing promised features.

With a gen change and numerous distractions for kaz and PD if GT7 is released that soon it will be a clusterfuck .

Really? I thought it looked great and it is running on the Killzone Shadow Fall engine.

I love VC but it already had a good number of titles, even a (sad) card game and now a PC port. Also, it's not that appealing for west players.
If I were in charge and I had to pay for something, I'd go with this:

tumblr_n25htz4dzn1rrg44xo3_500.jpg

Realistically, it's going to be nothing special, I bet on it.

I'm finding it hard to believe people actually think GT7 is going to come out this year.

It's probably an outside possibility, but it's still a possibility. GT6 was announced in May of 2013 and then released in December. So the fact that it hasn't been announced yet doesn't necessarily meant hat it wont' release this year. I think E3 would probably be the latest that it could be announced and still release this year. Any time after that and it's probably an early 2016 title or later. But I definitely think that we'll finally see it this year.

Aren't we suppose to have some game annoucement from japan studio really soon (early february) or am I imagining things?

You're thinking of IGN's announcement, and they were referring to Bloodborne being the IGN First game for February. Coverage of it starts Monday and will include an 18 minute video of the intro.
