Meh....
Streets of Rage 1 was my favorite one!
wait? 3d thunder blade exists? does galaxy force?
Ditto. Shocked as hell Sonic 2 wasn't in Wave 2, thought that was an obvious choice.
Especially as isn't it easier since they got Sonic 1 done already and they use the same engine and assets? What if it's due to the music and they need to re-license it over and over and over...
I'd bet ALL MY RINGS on it being them wanting to get the Sonic 2 special stages right, which won't 'just happen' from using the S1 engine.
Is this for the 3DS or a real HD remake? Loved the 2nd one.
Let us pray on that friend. Will it come with a remastered soundtrack by Yuzo?
It's M2, they're incapable of screwing things up.Oh hell yeah. SoR2 is by far the best in the series. I beat the hell out of that game. This one will definitely be on my radar. What are the odds they don't screw this up? PEACE.
Edit: what the hell, this is 3DS? Ugh. This thread is where gaming boners come to die.
What did you expect them to do with it? They couldn't publish it or get it promoted because a lot of the content was using assets and materials from other games. specifically from SNK fighters and action games.I want to buy this but after their treatment of Streets of Rage Remake, nah rather not support it.
"Multiple platforms"? Does that mean it'll be available on something other than a Nintendo handheld, or is that just done to cover 3DS/XL/2DS etc.?
I was thinking that the 3D might entail a polygonal remake of the game, which would mean it could be 3D (in that sense) on literally any current platform.Well, I'd assume they'd want a different brand that doesn't include '3D' for non 3DS-family platforms.

Australian ratings are rather expensive (so) so by saying it is multiplatform you cover the rating for titles called "3D Streets of Rage 2" for life. It costs nothing additional to do so there is no harm in ticking that box."Multiple platforms"? Now I'm really hoping that this means there's going to be a wave 3 and that Revenge of Shinobi will be included.

This right here! (Or anything Yu Suzuki) then I'll never complain about any game release again.

What's the problem with 3ds?beside these 3d classics already started way back
It's kinda lame you need two copies of Streets of Rage for local multiplayer.
Honestly, for me, I'd prefer these games on a bigger screen and with wider controller support. I know a bigger screen is possible with some $200 hardware mod and shipping out your handheld or whatever, but that's not something I'm up for right now.
I'm glad these exist and I'll pretty much buy them all provided I like the original game (which is almost all of them so far), but I'm looking forward to the day I can emulate them.
Oh man oh man oh man oh man oh man!
If we can get this, Sonic 2 and ...

Ever!
Or at least for a little while...
yupM2's sega 3d classics are probably the best stuff on the 3DS.
