Darksiders 2: Definitive Edition listed on Amazon.com (and more from Nordic Games)

Well, Bayonetta 2 wasn't listed to come with the original game initially either :)

We'll see!

Won't hold my breath, but hope you're right. I liked the first game better. Not to say I didn't enjoy the 2nd one, but it felt rushed in parts, and the ending was bad. The last area was so barren too.

If this is how they fund 3 and decide if there's enough interest to warrant it, I'll buy that shit in a heartbeat.

40$? If I'm not wrong I got this for 5$ 2 years ago on steam (10$ for 1+2). Why release it years later ... Again?

EDIT: nah must have been 1,5 years ago because it released 08/2012

Saving money to make 3? Who knows. They did buy the ip, they just want this generation exposed to the ip, though not releasing 1 is odd and hope it gets its own release if it doesn't come with this release.

What's with the trend of remastering sequels but not the first game? I want to play darksiders 1 before 2 just like I want to play dark souls 1 before 2, and I don't have a PS3.

Include the first game and I may give the series another shot. Found the first dungeon in the original game to be pretty boring/long and ended up loosing interest, is there a consensus that the game has a slow start or was it just me?

The first game has one of the epicest endings I have ever seen in gaming, sad it didn't translate into the 2nd game that well, oh well.

Hopefully this will result in Darksiders 3. Didn't really like the second one as much due to it overstaying its welcome but I liked the original one. I won't be buying this since I already finished it on PS3 but it's good news for those who have yet to play it I suppose.

Edit: OST is amazing as fuck though. Of course that was expected when you see who was in charge.

They can make Darksiders 2 actually better by cutting some corners. They won't do it, but it would be ballsy and great.

Of the websites and blogs I looked at that are reporting this news, I have only seen one credit the original post (way to go PSU). Everyone else either credits the news as their own or they credit it to allgamesbeta.com (who themselves do not credit this post). Honestly, it does not matter to me considering how trivial this is, but I still find it rather interesting.

It's almost as if *gasp* not all gamers are PC gamers. How could such a thing be possible!?

Besides, this is a sign of continued interest in the Darksiders brand. This is hope for Darksiders 3.

Jesus Christ dude, it was just a suggestion. What the fuck is with the attitude? I just pointed out that the game has been quite cheap on Steam and so that is a good, cheap option of playing it, with all the DLC.

I love Darksiders, I own 1 and 2 on both PS3 and PC and would love to see a third, so your comment is ridiculous. I own way more console games than PC games (and way more consoles than PC's or laptops) by the way.

It's almost as if *gasp* you're making wild assumptions about me for no reason.

I even made a whole fucking topic about Darksiders 2 after spending 40+ hours on the game:

Anyways, *ahum*, if you have a decent PC, get both games in a combo package during the Steam sales, which is really cheap, and if you don't, get this one then, since the DLC is pretty decent and worth playing overall. Just make sure you spread that Darksiders 2 playthrough out over a few weeks. It's enjoyable, but it can get repetitive after about 15 hours in.

ArcaniA: The Complete Tale is really interesting to me.

Arcania 4 on the Xbox 360 is probably the worst port I've ever played, but I still enjoyed it....

What could the Complete Tale mean?

I'm just tired of PC gamers often finding ways to be contrarian in threads about console games. I was just posting news, that's all.

Aww yeah. Played the first game, and have been waiting on the second. But now I'll just get the PS4 version if true.
