The combat is slightly faster than the fastest builds in any of the Souls games, but aside from that it's a Souls game in all but name.

Definitely not, unfortunately a lot of people are drawing the comparison and I fear they're going to get burnt when it turns out to be not something they anticipated at all.

No. It's slower and more methodical than a DMC-type character action game. Also you die in a few hits from anything.

I loved every build in the alpha and managed to take own the boss with all of them. The real question is, will the game have magic and what does it look like. Seen like a flame spell thing in a trailer but not sure if that is a pyro spell or something else.

Will def get a huge push after Order releases. Sony knows it has a bonafide GOTY contender in its hands and will market the shit out of it.

So good. Is there any point dual wielding guns though? Guns are just parrying tools and useful as a supporting weapon for crowd control but on their own do very little damage right?

That's a flamethrower, you can see him switching out his gun.

At this point I'm not going to play older games like Demon Souls/Dark Souls (I don't like playing any old games, I care too much about graphics/production values)
