It wasn't the best idea to start in the first place considering I was depressed as hell because I can't go hardly anywhere or do anything and was looking for something to help distract me. Now I just feel a fool for sinking hundreds of dollars into this shit.

So yeah, to reiterate, fuck you Best Buy.

My solo Yoshi that fit just fine in the box came the same way. So I expect the same for MK, it's not like I was going to get him any other way, well maybe with a Canadian cell phone...

Ugh, will DDD get more stock soon at any retail rather than "summer" at gamestop? Because I just order DDD for $25 on Amazon third party sellers (fulfilled by amazon) just so I can have him now rather than deal with the possibility of him not getting a restock ever and having his price skyrocket. Seems many European country also seem to have DDD low in stock as well.

I just want the complete Smash set than I'm outta here.

I feel that it if the quality of the box is at the top of your pririty then Online Ordering should be your last resort, package distributers have proven time and time again that they care little about what condition your amiibo will arrive in they automatically assume that you will open them and toss it out.Had the amiibos had a reusable package box like figmas then it would be a different story.

I highly reccomend instore preordering,i did it for nearly all of mine and they are exactly as they should be.Inline ordering is a gambling process that might not be worth it to some.

i honestly do feel bad i mean even if they assume you dont care about the box they should at least put effort into making sure your product arrives in a state that doesnt look like it was the result of roadkill

I just received my Metaknights and they were packaged fine. I've also ordered from Walmart,Target and TRU and all the amiibos arrived well packaged. Unbelievable that someone could think that is a good way to package them

My rate is about 15-20 percent damaged. That may seem high but I think I have actually been lucky. I have had nearly all of them shipped.

I did last week and will again later today after I get finished moping. I'm aware of what a brat I'm sounding like typing all that out, so sorry for subjecting you guys to it :p

Last week I emailed them about the receiving in padded mailer issue and I got a call (probably cuz I'm My Best Buy whatever the highest level is) from them when I complained about that, and also about the store not price adjusting my order when they should have (which they agreed with). They told me they'd "send a note to the warehouse about packaging" blah blah, but I definitely will complain again about it in the (small) hopes it'll help a small bit from keeping this from happening to others.

We definitely need an EU amiibo OT. I doubt there are many UK gaffers buying from the US.

Anyway, for any people that pre ordered from UK Amazon, MK, Shulk, Mega man etc but got the email yesterday saying there wasn't any left, I decided to not cancel the order and today MK was despatched!! Shulk and MM are down as 'Despatching Now' but I did get 2 identical emails saying of the unavailability without naming which ones. HOWEVER, MM is still has stock!

So I'm confused as fuck but I'm back in the game after giving up last night. I don't know whether to buy another MM just in case the emails were for MM and Shulk.

Good deal. You don;t sound ridiculous at all. No way should you have to put up with any of that garbage. People should know not to take a new product and bend it to fit it into a box.

Also Best Buy sucks at stocking Wii U games. The section looks like employees don't ever touch it and is barren. I remember when I was trying to get Bayonetta to sign up for GCU. I kept checking every morning and it wasn't there. I asked employees. "No we don't have it"

Finally on day I asked one of the employees if they could order me one. She got on the computer and saw that they had them in stock. She called someone near the stock area and they said they didn't have Bayonetta (without even looking) She went back there her self and found it.

They probably had the onhands sitting back there for a week without ever stocking it.

Definitely. That top part with the artwork looks good but I have never received an amiibo where that part wasn't bent.

lol he's already rare now ,from all posts that i gathered most stores had no more than a handful for sale and hes still sold out online across all the major retailers, if you still dont have him Target might put him back up again ,they have been putting up Wave 3b in short bursts this past week.

Fuck it, I decided to order a JP Shulk off eBay. Only what amounts to $7 more than what I would pay here in Denmark (and that includes shipping) so I'm okay with that.

lol at that ineptitude. Coincidentally, Bayo's the last game I bought in store before today and they didn't have it where it should've been on release day, it was tucked away behind a cabinet at the front, but at least it was findable unlike your store's lame scenario. And yeah, I bought a re-up of Gamer's Club for 2 more years that day and it never updated to my account so that's yet another thing I have to contact them about. Seems like it's something most every transaction

I have 3 MK's coming in today from BB. Hopefully they did a better job with my order since most of the packing horror stories I've heard are with 1-2.

All of these amiibos were from best buy. I was fortunate enough to be able to preorder these very early and it seems to have paid off.

MK is a bit inconsistent. One has significant differences in paint on the mask, and as often happens with swords, one has a bent sword.

Dedede is fabulous. Without a doubt the best amiibo yet. Just perfect. The sculpt and paint are both absolutely amazing, and it's nice and heavy.

No problem, its also speculated that Both Sonic and Megaman will have lower shelf life due to Nintendo having to pay lisencing fees to both Sega and Capcom respectively.

If they cant even have Nintendo IP characters for long then i sincerely doubt they would have 3rd party characters for longer.

I liked it when Argos took the money from my account for MK and Shulk then refunded me the next day then pulled the pages from their site. That was pretty cool.

Probably sound like a broken record but you can get the Japanese version from amazon for around $25 with prime. Even without prime should be less than $35.

I was 12th in line for the 11 MK's they had...QQ

But happy end, one person in front of me traded the MK for a tour of where I work, so it all worked out! Wave 3 complete!
