The game, created by The New Order developer MachineGames, will launch on May 5 for $20. It will be available on that date for Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC through digital channels only.

The year is 1946 and the Nazis are on the brink of winning World War II. In an effort to turn the tide in the Allies’ favour, B.J. Blazkowicz must embark on an epic, two-part mission deep within Bavaria. Part one of Wolfenstein: The Old Blood - Rudi Jäger and the Den of Wolves - pits BJ Blazkowicz against a maniacal prison warden as he breaks into Castle Wolfenstein in an attempt to steal the coordinates to General Deathshead’s compound. In part two – The Dark Secrets of Helga Von Schabbs – our hero's search for the coordinates leads him to the city of Wulfburg where an obsessed Nazi archaeologist is exhuming mysterious artefacts that threaten to unleash a dark and ancient power.

Gameplay coming soon!

I'm guessing this is stand alone DLC along the lines of First Light or Gat out of Hell, considering it's coming out so soon.

I think I'd rather want an actual sequel that deals with the aftermath of the end of TNO, but I'll totally play more Wolfenstein regardless.

"How many Goddanm Nazis are there in this world?"

One of the best questions ever asked.

Day 1 for me, but prequel? That surprises me. Unless this is a Blood Dragon type of game, a shorter game. Without saying any spoilers, The New Order seems clearly to end with a sequel in mind.

EDIT: Seems that its a shorter game, then i dont think its a surprise :)

I'm definitely interested in more of Wolfenstein TNO. Hopefully they keep their focus on having a good narrative to go along with the gameplay.

Love the golden age Hollywood presentation. The explicit Wilhelm Scream is the icing on the cake. I hope the actual game elicits this style as well and not just the trailer.
