PlayStation 4 hits 20.2 million units sold worldwide (high sodium content warning)

ULTROS!

People seem to like me because I am polite and I am rarely late. I like to eat ice cream and I really enjoy a nice pair of slacks.

I like this quote:

If you are making a 'real game for real game lovers', then release it on all platforms so all the game lovers can enjoy it.

Or are you simply lying about that and making a game that will help Sony with its greedy tactics that are practically forcing to buy a whole fucking console in order to play a single game.

Not only that, but you release Dark Souls 1 & 2 on PC, and now take you the Souls series away from us?

Disgusting!

I really hope you people make the right choice!

el oh el

This is certainly news.

Hopefully by now the whole "consoles are dead" stuff has been put to rest and developers are working on next gen projects in full force.

I believe this is common using little kid for profit based business.
I know the last time I was in Thailand, buying a stick of gum can be up-sell to drugs and prostitution.
I don't know what is the point of using a kid to do it because prostitution can easily be spotted and 'legal' in a lot of places.

there is usually a sign up.

No, there's a thread in Community where you nominate yourself and collaborate.
thanks for the info, guys.
Are these people really this dense? Even if From Software changed their minds and wanted to release a PC version, Sony is the publisher and co-developer. I'm amazed.
did they at one point have it in their minds to do a PC port of bb?

Pretty sure Sony came to them to start on a next gen exclusive and they came up with the idea together. Sony was there right at the beginning with Bloodborne.

word.

i've said this a ton of times, but i'm hoping they'll incorporate the actual bloodborne disease into the story. it'd be neat if they named the game after the plague that you the player are trying to find a cure to for your city.

Tragically I suspect its not... breaks a persons heart to see a poor kid like that...

There's starving kids all over North America with few people lifting a finger to help.

You can't really censor comedy or there's no limit to the censorship... It's kinda funny anyway in a sense

I love how people buy a console for just one game and refuse to build a pc for hundreds of fantastic exclusives where everyone finds something for their taste.
Bloodborne looks like one of the first really good outstanding games for the PS4 and the only valid purchase reason for a PS4 but it's just one game...
All other exclusive are A. multiform games (no question, even cheap pc's do a better job than any console) B. time exclusive (a bit later in a better and cheaper and often more version on pc) or C. just "ok" games for an unreasonable price.

Stop being fanboys and open your eyes, being loyal to a brand without comparing with other products is just stupid.
If there is something way better, offers overall a better way to play everything than play there and currently it's almost always the pc version (sometimes, like in SF IV, they fuck up something like online and won't fix it, it's still playable but there way less players too choose from than on 360).
I know a few crazy JRPG fans (mainly Souls and Persona) than I get it why they bought a console but they did that because they did not have a other choice, everything else they play on their pc.
Console is like fast food, cheaply made and doesn't need much effort and can get you fed up but taking some time preparing your own meal is just generally better.
Nobody bats an eye if you play on consoles but if you talk literally trash without any facts or evidence it helps no one.

To be fair I didn't buy a ps4 to play indies.

"I didn't buy a ps4 to play videogames."

Saltmongers are getting creative with their butthurt rhetoric. "STOP BEING FANBOYS" he says, while beating his chest about the superiority of his chosen platform.

i await a justification for how its funny.

It's funny because it flips the console peasants imagery over into a pc peasant as it were, and is a depiction of a beggar, port begging. But I'm sure you figured all that out, just because it's a shocking image doesn't change anything. It could be an adult begging or a crackhead, it's all sad but some comedy is meant to shock. See also Dave Chappelle.

Does Yudokun have a history of trolling? Otherwise this might be a serious post.

Damn, some people have really thin (paper thin) skin. Don't understand the responses to that image, shit happens all over the world every day. I laughed, anyway.

Just as I laughed at Yudoken's great, ironic as hell post.

Crazy, it's really weird how people buying it especially early on it's lifecycle with just a few expensive and boring games and games which look worse than on under 300 USD pc's.
The name PlayStation still sells a lot of consoles.
At least they have a few bangs like Bloodborne and Uncharted 4 in the pipeline.

Hey buddy glad you got that out of your system!

I love my PC, really I do, but having a small child, i'm finding myself playing it very, very little these days compared to my ps4.

I live being able to easily keep one eye on the kid, and the other on my TV, playing with headphones on (but often with one ear uncovered).

As for why it's selling? I don't think many people guy a console for one game, you buy it for a library. And so far, most of the games have looked or played better on ps4 versus the xbox, while the wii U just can't seem to find traction despite some wonderful software.

Yup. Even if someone personally doesn't like the 200 games that ps4 has, 20.2 million people are having a blast playing it, so I could understand if someone says I don't like any of those 200 games (although it's pretty unlikely they have even tried) but to actually pretend that they can't legitimately figure out why anyone would buy a PS4 is hilariously salty, and bitter
