80s style synth-pop/electro synth/cyberpunk music

The Dan Terminus recommendation is fucking amazing. Been listening to it non-stop.
I was able to snag the Perturbator I Am The Night/Terror 404 on black wax and cd's….had to refresh every single step of the order process haha.

I'm so glad I held off on buying the Carpenter Brut albums and just got the Trilogy album. It's all so good! I really hope we see more from them; maybe they'll do another three albums and release a second Trilogy compilation :D

Where can I find this to stream? I missed the bandcamp link before it was taken down and now I'm sitting here alone, sad, in a dark room without music.

Dan Terminus said that it was taken down when he signed to Blood Music. But it's getting released to the public on March 10th!

holy shit guysy, why did you not tell me of Antoni Maiovvi before.

I should have. Got into Maiovvi around the time Battlestar Transreplica was released, which is epic. Two of the tracks are over 15 minutes long. I don't know if prog synth is a legit genre but that's how I would describe that stuff.

Dan Terminus - The Wrath of Code is back up!

I regret not getting the limited edition with the vinyl soundtrack now that I've seen pictures of the thing and the track list. That price to Europe though :(

They're reprinting it. By the looks of it if you order now, they'll send a second batch out by the end of March.

Doesn't fix the import costs to the EU, mind.

Yeah, total price comes to around 100€ with customs taxes and all.
Helped if you bought it day-1 announcement when the USD was weaker. Now it's even more expensive with the shitty EUR value.

Holy shit, Carpenter Brut is awesome. Sometimes you just hear something once and you know that's your new jam, right there.

Discovered this guy because of Hotline Miami 2. Goddamn this is too good. Need to find more artists like this. Digging this 80's synthwave/electro sound.

Um, this is one of the better things I've ever heard posted in this thread. Wow! Strikes a great balance between aggressive and melodic. Not too heavy with catchy synth lines, but it also has some solid beats behind them.

It is really great first song alone is so damn soothing.

I've really been listening to spacesynth a lot lately, which was stuff like Laserdance and KOTO from the '80s, but modern producers have been making it as well

Area 51 - Bionic Man

Staffan Ohman - Fly Like Superman
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jJTJJVqGXeA

Galactic Warriors

Rygar - Illusion in C Minor

Abbsynth - Zodiac

And there's a record label that has a lot of these artists that has a lot of promo mixes

I've got an awesome mix from Kavinsky that he did on French radio. Would love to see him live.

Failing that, isn't it about time he put out some new tracks?

well sure any good artist/producer can whip together mixes too :D but mainly he should not be called a DJ.

I saw his Outrun Live just last summer, was really fun even though it was just "a guy and a laptop" -gig. He had red LED light-up sunglasses on and was just jamming the full album with some special remixed versions on while smoking cigarettes,
