You know, around episode 1&2 I was loving the game but thinking this was a b-team game meant to fill a void until 7 releases this Winter or next.
I would be fine with these guys cranking out side games every other year on a lower scale and budget.
However after episodes 3 & 4 I want anyone involved in a major way(scenario, writers, script/English localization, etc) on the next main game.

Near-end of Ep 4 gameplay :
That room with glasps and Revenants in glass tanks was fantastic. I didn't know the tanks could break, so I went a little wild shooting around for a Glasp and broke one. "What OH SHIT!" Then I had an invisible glasp hovering around while trying to dodge the Revenant I had just unleashed. Great emergent gameplay moment.
I also like that you can break the Revenant tanks before Barry's boss fight and kill them.

Hah, I knifed every one, one at a time, because I figured they would either break out all at once during a boss fight or something. They're not so bad when you take them one at a time and prepare the weak spot shot.

I also want to throw out there I don't agree with reviewers that think the game should of ended on a higher note. I think the build-up, final boss fight(s), and endings (in conjunction with each other, I think both endings compliment each other well), plus the after-credits scene, is perfect as it is for the game Revelations 2 is.
But I also am wondering how many reviewers didn't realize there were two different endings and one of the two endings
, based on how some reviewers wrote their thoughts and made it sound like they were let-down by an obvious cliffhanger ending, which would mean they probably only got one of the endings and didn't realize the other existed.

I don't have faith in reviews to fully figure out games, so yeah, you're right, some of them probably only got the bad ending and aren't even aware there's a good ending with an additional true boss fight.

So, on PS4, every time the screen shows a message "connecting to resident evil.net" I get an error a few seconds later saying that the "service is not available. Please try again later." I'm uploading stuff fine (my stats look right on the website. Seems like a problem downloading--I still have a blank space for my profile pic in Raid Mode. Which... I'm guessing means I can't download parts, either. Has anyone had this?
Just finished episode 4. Such a damn good ending (
). Cheesy and satisfying like a true RE game. Overall, it was a great package, and while I was hoping for more Claire/Moira gameplay in the final episode, the whole experience definitely puts Revelations 2 among the best RE games in my book (so next to REmake, RE2 and RE4).

Same here. It's happening after each level I beat too, so it's actually dragging everything down as I have to keep going through the messages to get back into another level.

Already have 47 hours into the game so far, and that's nothing considering I've only gone through the campaign once and am only about halfway through raid stuff.
Honestly... as of right now this is my current Game of the Year. I'm sure Bloodborne is gonna be in the running for me as well (I love Souls games), but of every game I've played so far this year, this is easily the best.
Probably my 4th favorite Resident Evil game now with REmake>RE2>RE4>REREV2>RE5>RE:CV>RE3>REV1>RE6

That ending was so stupid. Seriously this game was so great yet that 5 second ending? Fuck this game.
There are multiple endings you can get, depending on how you play.
The true ending is an excellent way to wrap things up.

If you actually play the game properly it fucks you over on the ending. You lose access to one of the only original ideas in all of episode 4. Well, original might be pushing it, but at least it was a change up.
God I cannot believe how much this went to shit after episode 3.
Of course. Unless you read a spoiler online or something, probably the majority of people didn't fail an easy as shit QTE.

You don't fail it. You switch characters to decide who uses the gun. This is not difficult to understand.

It sounds like you got the bad ending. Go back to Episode 3 and redo the Claire and Moira section, and
switch to Moira during the QTE with Neil to have her shoot him.
No, you don't fail it.
When the QTE shows up it shows a prompt to switch characters. Switch to Moira, crawl over to get the gun and use it.

OK the crane is seriously annoying me. Barry has just gotten the shotgun, but I can't work out what I need to do with the lifts now to continue, as all access seems blocked.
Also, to change endings, do you have to play through the entire game again from *that* part in Chapter 3, or can you just replay that section?

This game has that perfect blend of cheese, where it delivers everything so seriously despite how hilarious it all is. RE5 did it just right too.

What's difficult to understand is how the developers of this game thought that one little stupid section, a QTE at that would determine the whole ending of the game. Plus that triangle prompt was thrown in there so quick it's hard to miss. It's an extremely dumb and cheap way to add in another ending. Maybe if the game had choices throughout it would make sense, but it comes out of nowhere with no indication of anything. They did a poor job implementing it.

Just in case someone doesn't want to know how to do it, I put it in spoilers.
Climb on top of the girders to get to the top of the lift, stay in the middle and use the buttons to send Barry near the other ladder to knock it down for Natalia.

I still haven't finished it and I've played for more than 2 hours.
I'm impressed with the amount of new environments contained in this episode. All in all this a very meaty campaign for which I would've gladly paid full price, let alone the amount of value provided by Raid Mode. And then there's the bonus episodes.
This game is ridiculous value, to think it cost me 14 euros at launch.
I still haven't finished it and I've played for more than 2 hours.
