Is there any reason to use Ken's U1? His U2 punishes way more stuff and he can combo it off of frame traps or straight up standing jab.

Besides, you can troll people with hitting with the back part of it.

I guess U1 is better for specific punishes?

I read my post again and see that I poorly misworded it lol. FR 2015 is the biggest SF4 tournament outside of EVO itself. And when I say that I mean a 1v1 tournament so I'm not counting those Japanese team tournaments although I'm not sure if any of them did surpass the FR numbers.

It's guaranteed damage. U2 is great to counter fireballs but the ways to combo it are not that practical. Even for the best players trying to st. Jab into U2 or FADC cr. MK > fireball is pretty hard to do consistently. DP, FADC, Ultra 1 is a no brainer and is easier to put yourself in position to attempt that in general.

They already are in certain places. I'd love to see more come through to the east coast for Summer Jam and Defend the North. Then it also will depends on who needs points and has a shot of qualifying.

And since people suck at promoting their own events, lots of stuff going on this weekend outside of the Kumite.
