I have two guides for the game, and they both divide the game into 17 chapters as well, even though the game itself makes no mention of them.
It seems to be largely based on major events in the game/story.

Seems that he accidentally revealed that XenobladeX having 16 chapters? Though he also said Xenoblade having 12 chapters, which I recall to be 17.

If you keep listening they actually come back on that (the host lady mentions it at 1:16:52), because he DOES make it sound as if X has 16 chapters, but it turns out he was confusing it with something else (something older?).

Could be damage control, but they're saying he's wrong in any case.

Kawabata didn't say anything interesting if nobody translated anything, ha ha.

Well, the first tweet is about all the info about XC3D last week (with the livestream), and the fact that it's being released in two days.

Second one is about XCX, but not quite sure what he's saying exactly.

Pretty sure the second tweet just said X is releasing soon too, and he gets excited whenever a game he's worked on is about to come out...or that it's just exciting in general when stuff is about to come out.

If they do they'll announce it in the Japanese Direct, not our western Direct. Unless they've decided to fully dub the presentations and release them in NA leading up to release... which would be awesome.

& LOL what a shame :(

Also, I've known Mrs. Tanaka as Soraya Saga forever! But yeah, either name works. She's done so much for Xeno and totally ought to be referred to by name. She's also really nice.

They never confirmed the OST will be 5 CD in the first place. Kinda sad though that the official OST will only have slight more than 1/2 of the total songs.

No, 90 songs was never mentioned anywhere. That is just simply the number given by Takahashi when he said how many songs Sawano composed for the game. That had nothing to do with the CD release.

Major potential Xenoblade X story spoilers:

One of the songs is named "raTEoREkiSImeAra". Separating the cases that's "raokimera TERESIA". Lao chimera Telethia. Well then.

The two other similar names end up as "field KAIJOU" and "ares BOSS", which also make sense.

I don't think Teresia/Telethia being in there is any more spoilery than Nopon being in the game.

Considering their role in the original Xenoblade,
connecting them to a specific already-known character is... something.

Also I typo'd. Should be "story spoiler".
